Hello. Great experience with all the team (especially with Jeff). I had a problem with the controller and they sent it to me in 4 days (SF to Spain). The only problem is that I had to pay customs but they offered me a discount.

I ordered a Blade 2.0 and it was delivered within 10 days. This is remarkable because I have another bike on order with a different company and am still waiting 2 months after placing the order. The bike was packaged well, although one of the protective pieces for the front wheel was lodged in the bearing and took considerable effort to release. Assembly was easy; if you can tighten a bolt with a wrench, you can assemble this bike. I ordered the throttle which arrived separately and I had to install myself. The display does not quite fit over the stem so I could only secure it with one bolt. This is a common issue with these display brackets on other bikes too. I was pleasantly surprised when I realized my bike has the UART version of the Bafang Ultra motor, this will allow me to customize the parameters to suite my riding style. The newer CANbus versions don't allow this. The bike rides great, plenty of power even in the lower pedal assist settings. Climbs steep hills and really moves on the flats. A Rohloff hub and belt drive at this price point is not available from anywhere else. I definitely recommend a suspension seatpost post like the Kinekt. The rear brakes on my bike are a little mushy, I'm hoping a quick bleed will resolve that but not something I expect to have to do on a new bike. The bike only comes in one size so expect to do a little tweaking with different stems and/or handlebars to get your bike dialed in for you. I'm 5'11" and feel like a little longer stem will be more comfortable. Overall I recommend this bike for anyone looking for a high performance mountain bike.

Bike took 7 months to arrive, but it was so worth it! Just hit 1000 miles in the babymaker pro and still going strong!

The Babymaker bike is absolutely perfect in the city and on the flat. It handles very well and I'm really happy with the way it rides. The belt to replace the chain is excellent. The remaining mechanical parts are also excellent. Unfortunately, I have to say that it is very disappointing on the climbs. It can't cope with big gradients and gets to the point where it inexorably stops. I suppose that's the price you pay for an electric bike that, for all intents and purposes, feels like a classic muscle fixie. Another negative point is the unreliable battery status computer. Sometimes it shows less under load and, unfortunately, I've had it stop even though two seconds earlier it showed two notches. This could have been done better. Also, the charger is a bit too noisy. However, there are electric city bikes that cost up to 5,000 euros, for example the Coboc Bike. With a fifth of the price you can't expect perfection. All in all, it's a bike I like and am proud to show others.

Here is an honest opinion. Delivery was slow of my babymaker, but we encountered a global pandemic. Given this, I just accepted things were not going to go smoothly and after this was just happy to receive the bike. Communications got better throughout the campaign as matters improved. I now get a response within a day. The bike looks and rides great. It is what you would pay for and is a sexy, affordable electric bike. If you want more, spend more. My only gripe is the sudden battery drop off when running from mid capacity and I live where there are some monster hills and in the UK, so have a smaller motor. For some reason, I have noticed performance get less over the last 4 months. There is currently no explanation being offered by FLX for this. The bike is fantastic on steady gradients with medium inclines. So if you live in a city or area that suits, you would love a babymaker. I think the FLX team work incredibly hard to deliver on expectations and in a world where everybody is a critic, there needs to be acknowledgement of a company that doesn't give up in the face of adversity and keeps plugging away. There was a few issues with flx at the start and mid way through the babymaker campaign. A lack of transparency and covid 19 caused several backers to become irate. This wasn’t an issue for me as I managed to wait the year it took for my bike to be delivered and that served me well as flx had ironed out any remaining issues with the bike. Having physically owned the bike for a good number of months now. I am happy with the bikes overall build quality but a little disappointed with the range. Once the battery dies you are not prepared for the effort it requires to get up a hill. Don’t let these negative points sway you as the bike is of very high build quality and sleek design. Overall I’m very impressed and I’m intrigued to see what future products flx will produce for us. They are not a bad manufacture of bikes and don’t deserve the negativity directed towards them. They, like the rest of the world had to suddenly deal with covid19 and eventually proved themselves as a worthy company to deal with

While I did have frustration from having to wait for parts and then having to return the bike. It has been returned to me and is fully functional. The service department did their job.

I got the bike about two weeks ago so far I love the bike a lot. Even it took a long time to get it but overall it is a nice bike and going up in the hill area is such a ease.
