FlocknoteReviews of flocknote.com

I've been using Flocknote for my Knights of Columbus Council now for two months and find it very easy to use. What I like best it it will let me know if people are reading my emails. Great way to see if I'm reaching people. I also like the comment part for each email I send out!

When Covid-19 rolled out, our Diocese (San Diego) generously and wisely decided to purchase Flocknote for every parish in the Diocese. What a great decision. Within two months, Flocknote has become THE way we communicate with our people. With California's strict restrictions on how many may come to Mass, passing out printed bulletins has become an exercise in futility. But with Flocknote, we can reach hundreds of parishioners in minutes. We initially had to import a lot of old legacy data, and during the first couple of weeks, we had a fair number of people opting out of receiving Flocknote announcements -- which gave us an excellent chance to cull a bunch of out of date information from our rolls. Since the Flocknote data is self-updating, we have more accurate parishioner data than ever before. We have used Flocknote to share our ever-changing Mass schedules, to recruit liturgical ministers and schedule online classes. Covid-19 has flattened our ordinary ways of doing things. Flocknote has given us a structure for maintaining our parish and offers opportunities for new modes of community going forward. As a side note, I have signed up for the Flocknote lists of five or six neighboring parishes, and it is an ongoing source of ideas and inspiration. Thanks, Flocknote, Chris Carstens

Love working with the team at Flocknote! Great folks!

I haven't been able to use Flocknote because, as a regular admin, I don't have the ability to update contact information for those who belong to multiple groups. Also, I can't target portions of my list using filters because the "send" option isn't available to filtered lists. If I could delete and recreate groups, the problem would be solved in a round-about way; but, ideally, I'd like to be able to send notes directly to those in filtered lists. I've mentioned this before.

One of the challenges of adopting any new system is learning what questions to ask, when one's knowledge is near zero. This is akin to those "unknown unknowns" we heard about some time back from Rumsfeld. The thing I've found most refreshing is that the so-called Happiness Engineers at Flocknote 1) actually do know what they're talking about when they correspond with you, and 2) they know enough to warn you gently about an unanticipated outcome of a proposed action. My unknown unknown is a known known to the engineers, but they don't rub your face in it. This kind of hand-holding is critical when, in a case such as this, the frustration level of adoption must be kept below the back-on-the-shelf-fuggedaboutit level. So far, so good. Thanks! We have been using Flocknote at our church for several years. It's extremely easy to use and gives us a lot of flexibility and options when creating messages, electronic newsletters and even surveys! Most recently, when we reopened our parish for limited public worship, we had concerns about how we were going to manage the 100 person capacity. As we were fretting over all the survey and registration software tools, the Flocknote team rolled out the "Signup" options, which allowed us to seamlessly add a registration component to our weekly message. It was Flocknote to the rescue. It's so easy to track who will be attending. We are so grateful for the foresight and innovation of the Flocknote support team for creating this needed function. Additionally, when I have questions about their new features, their staff is always responsive and courteous. Incredible customer service!
