BEWARE! On 4/4/23 signed up for a policy to start 6/1/23 when my other policy expired. On 5/10/23 called to cancel. After several boiler room sales pitches was finally transferred to "Brad" who informed me that since I hadn't cancelled within 30 days of purchase I would get no refund. I can imagine what trying to file a claim will be like. STAY AWAY !!!!

I liked the contractor who was knowledgable about my issue and was able to complete the job. However, it was an ordeal to get First Premier Home Warranty (FPHW) to approve the contractor's analysis of the issue and recommendation to resolve. It was only after several days and several frustrating calls to FPHW that I was able to coordinate approval between FPHW and the contractor. I wish it was a more seamless and stressless process.

DO NOT PURCHASES FROM THIS COMPANY!! Purchased 3 platinum home warranties in August 2022 for 3 separate properties and additional coverage for pool, free standing freezers. Received a pamphlet outlining services provided for each type of coverage. Requested service on 01/07/23 for refrigrator repair. Called agent on 01/09/23 who advised a technician would contact me. Technician arrived and sent in diagnosis. Told by agent on 01/11/2023 they had not received workorder from appliance repair which had been submitted 2 x's. Called again on 01/19/23 and again the company stated no work order. Sent for the 3rd and 4th time. Diagnosis said it was part of the ice maker needed repair. Warranty coverage states" COVERED - All components and parts, including integral freezer unit. Excluded - Audio/visual & internet connection components. No mention of ice maker being excluded. Claim denied. Called in for service for garage door opener - claim denied. Called for replacement of pool sweep motor and pump and plumbing pipes (2 claims) Warranty states "COVERED Above ground pool components and parts of heating m pumping an filtration system including Pool sweep motor & pump. Agent said underwriters denied service stating because there was a crack no coverage and the plumbing would not be covered because it was with the other claim. Agent could not explain why documents state these items were covered but denied. Asked for supervisor to call me and explain but never heard back. Called for service for furnance 4/11/23. No response and no follow up. Requested service for electrical issue on line on May 4 and no response. I have NEVER been contacted to be told claims were denied. I had to continuously call back to find out. HORRIBLE and misleading service. Company has failed to ever explain why their underwriters have denied all of my claims. I am over 65 years old and this appears to be a scam for the elderly.

So glad for this policy. My AC went out. Would have cost me a great deal if I didn’t have this policy. Just paid a nominal service call fee. Efficient, prompt, hassle free. Every homeowner should have this policy. Will save you big bucks.

they took my money and then said that i cancelled the contract and it it not refundable. then the a hole guy wanted to sing me a jingle and told me his wife said he should be on america got talent. should have followed my gut instinct about this company but reviews sounded good
