I came for inspection only for my…
I came for inspection only for my office vehicle, I took the appointment and arrived on time, inspection did not even start after one hour of wait, this happened in past too, so this is a routine customer service you all are provided. No care of customer time. I think this is the time to change your founder Harvey Firestone statement that is posted in each of your store and the new statement should say, “we don’t believe in honesty and customer satisfaction”.

Loyal customers last visit with Firestone
This was my first visit to the Firestone located on 3000 Headline Rd, in Georgia. I also schedule the appointment on line. I needed a oil change and to have my windshield washer reservoir looked at due to it not dispensing window shield fluid. I advised the service advisor of the leakage of window fluid under the hood of my car. After waiting closet to 4'hours, that said my car was ready, but only after I had to ask what the eta was? The mgr. Anita who I spoke with on the phone prior to me scheduling the online appointment for today, and I was quoted by her that the window washer reservoir would be $ 20.00 charge for this service. Then she denied it saying this to meon the phone when I called about it. So I asked why did I have to schedule and wait 4 hours if they were only going to do the oil change. So I came there and waited almost 4 hours for them to just do a oil change and tell me that their is a crack in reservoir! She said they would have to order that container and the service would be at least 2 hours and it would cost in the $400 range. That is just outrageous!! I was never informed what they were doing they entire time I sat there, but I did assume that they were fixing the dispenser since it 4 hours I'm absolutely livid and I will not be going back to any Firestone location at this point. Very expensive and poor service. The mechanic also did my reset my car from showing scheduled maintenance. I will also be calling the corporate office. Just horrible experience today. I never been treated this poorly at any other time Firestone and I've been using their service for years.

Took my car to Firestone and Centerton
Took my car to Firestone in Centerton, Arkansas. I want to get my brakes adjusted and get the airs out of the lines. They called me back and after inspectionsaid the caliper needs to be replaced cause it was leaking so they charged me 580 bucks. So I paid it. Left my car there. Which I took my car there multiple times to get work done which I have to call all the time to check up because they don’t call you. So when I called them, they said that the mechanic broke both of my brake lines and my master cylinder. How does that happen? Of course they said they’ll get the parts which it took a week to get the parts and give it back to me on Saturday and the brakes were still the same. It goes all the floor burn for me to stop. As a Car guy, I know what’s going on and then they try to get me to pay more money which that wasn’t gonna happen. When it was their mechanic that broke my brake lines and my master cylinder. I was glad to have my car back so I took it home. Didn’t bother to call them. The front end shakes and my brakes are still the same. It’s unsafe for a car to leave the shop with Harley no brakes. So I called corporate a week ago haven’t heard from General manager. They never called me back. I’ve been calling every three days. No one has looked at my file. I will never go to Firestone again. Seem like they fine more problems than what needs to be fixed. They probably do it on purpose so they can make more money. It should only take 2 to 3 hours to change a caliber. And it should only take 2 to 3 days at max to get the parts. They’re a scam and a fraud be aware. And at the general manager does not call me I’m taking legal matters in my own hands. They sell your car. I have to go to work and now I can’t even drive it. Because it’s unsafe and the brakes are out. If I don’t get a call in a couple days, I’m taking legal advice and getting My Attorney involved. They sure don’t care about your safety. I would not let a car leave my parking lot if it didn’t have no brakes I had to use the emergency brakes to stop. Now I’m out of a car. And still waiting for a general manager to call me so we can get this fixed but if I have to go to legal way, I will.

If I could give zero I would
This review is specifically about the El Dorado Hills, CA Firestone location.
I called in the morning to get a quote for brake replacement — pads and rotors, not resurfacing — plus an alignment since I previously purchased a lifetime alignment for this car at another Firestone. The employee told me the cost would be $500–$600 for all four brakes, and when I repeated it back, I also mentioned the $100 coupon I saw online. He confirmed the total would be about $500.
My son dropped off the car, and I told him to have them do an oil change while it was there. When my wife went to pick it up later, the bill was over $1,500.
I immediately called and told the attendant they were trying to rip me off. He said he “didn’t know” we had lifetime alignment and removed that charge — but the bill was still over $1,300. I reminded him of our conversation that morning, where he clearly stated the price was for all four. He suddenly changed his story and claimed the quote was $500 per axle. That is absolutely false — I clarified “all four,” and he repeated it back. (For reference, I have a Toyota dealership coupon for $279 per axle.)
When I pushed back, he told me “there’s no way” and even said I must be high. I asked for the manager — he claimed he was the manager. I asked who was above him — he said I couldn’t talk to them. When I said I’d have to leave a negative review, he accused me of trying to get free work. I told him I called ahead, confirmed the price, and then they tried to triple it. He refused to give me any contact information and said, “Have fun with Google,” then hung up. When I called back, he wouldn’t answer.
Probably lucky I wasn’t anywhere near the location.
Here’s your one star — and it would be zero if that were an option.
And yes, I found the corporate number online and have already submitted a formal complaint.

Playing games
Playing games. Told me an alignment is $120. After it was done it’s $140. They say “shop supplies.” So that is scammy to me if the price is $140 than say that don’t play word games or games like “by law we don’t need to disclose.” When someone asks how much for alignment just be real don’t scam people say $140!!! I will never go back.

It felt like a complete rip-off.
It felt like a complete rip-off.
I paid $450 to have my A/C "fixed." The repair lasted about one hour before it stopped working again.
I went back the next day and was told I needed an appointment. Then the store manager told me they'd take my car in "about 30 minutes" and spend another two hours diagnosing it before calling me.
After all that waiting, the final answer was: "It's an electrical problem, and we can't fix it."
So, to summarize:
- Paid $450
- Spent nearly 8 hours dealing with appointments and waiting
- Left with the same broken A/C
Apparently, paying for a repair doesn't mean your car gets repaired, and making an appointment doesn't mean your time will be respected.
Thanks for the experience, Firestone. It'll definitely be my first and last visit.
