I purchased a set of linens and am displeased with the fitted sheet! I have a one year old top of the line Sterns snd Foster mattress which has a depth of 17 inches. The fitted sheet is huge...doesn't fit snugly st all! I washed it in hot water and will try it again this coming weekend, but am not convinced that the sizing is at all appropriate.

Wonderful online store and prompt costumer service. It's hard to match colors so if you need to return anything it can cost a lot in return shipping

I appreciate the quality of the sheet. I am still waiting for pillowcases to be delivered. Don't understand why they were not mailed together. Expected delivery sooner or at least notification of date to expect delivery.

I ordered cocktail napkins on line on Dec 15. The charge appeared on my January credit card statement, but I had not received the product. I called the customer service number and asked if the order had shipped. Dave verified that they had not yet shipped. He had them mailed immediately, arriving in mid-January. I don't think this is the experience you want customers to have. I'm not sure I would order again from the site due to this issue.

I ordered 2 beach towels as a portion of a large "florida" pkg our surgery dept was giving to our director as a going away gift. When I phoned to see why I hadn't received the towels yet, it turns out the shipping dept hadn't processed the order! The party was a day away! David had them overnighted and I had to make a special trip 12 miles to my home from work to get them, but I was able to at least get them in with everything else. Great towels, bad shipping dept, David saved the day!!!!

I thought, from the ads, I was getting bath mats with substantial no-skid rubber undersides. There is rubber, but very thin; it will not last many washings before I end up with the same dangerous sliding around on our marble bath floor I had with the mats I am replacing. By comparison I have a set of bath mats with thick rubber undersides. They've lasted for over a year now and I expect they'll last for several more years. I had hoped that mats like these were what I was getting this order; not to be. I do not recommend these mats wherever the floors are slick, like on marble or granite.

Received a duplicate shipment. Rather than keeping the free product I notified them of their error. Return was pretty easy. Customer service was not very thankful that I gave back a free $250 item they had no idea they sent me. Unusually informal method of communicating from a customer service department. No niceties of any kind. If you expect messages to start with Dear Customer X and end with Thank you or anything of that sort you'll not be impressed with Fine Linens customer service.

Update: I spoke David Hirsch over the telephone and he apologized for my experience. Apparently he did not receive my picture as an attachment in his email. He also explains that it is impossible to match other company monograms. He acknowledge that the long lead times should be better disclosed during the ordering process, and he will update his website to reflect this. He refunded the $35 shipping fee and will provide me with 20% discount on $150 that I paid for the bath rug. Thank you! Original Review: I feel ripped off. I placed my order for a Marlowe Bath Rug by Matouk on August 9th, 2014. I even paid $35 for 2nd day shipping. The item shipped on October 1st, 2014. No where on the web site nor my email receipt did it say that it would take this long. Moreover the quality of this item isn't worth $150. The order process was very straight forward, but I received several emails form David Hirsch inquiring about how the monogram letters should look, even though the website has very clear pictures of the monogram style. I replied with the picture of the same monogram style that I had ordered from Pottery Barn. What I received generally looks similar, but it doesn't match my towels which was the goal. So, I guess my picture was ignored. Bottom line I will never order from this store again and buyer should be wear.
