Terrible experience all around. The team made it so difficult to get answers or responses about anything. When I left their care, they continued to try to charge me. This is something I’ve been told they do a lot. Almost irrelevant, considering, but the therapist I was recommended wasn’t a good fit either. Try any other of the mental health care providers! You’ve been warned.

Their billing is horrible and they refuse to refund a charge that should not have happened. Supposedly I am being charged for a bill that occurred on June 1st after I was already charged for a session that occurred on June 11th? They said it was overdue but everything was on auto pay so how can I have over due payments? Being charged for this supposed bill that happened in June, almost in August? It makes no sense.

Therapist was not available the past two sessions and I was charged $100.00. How awful!!! No more therapy for me. This turned out to be sooo stressful 😩

I had a 3:00pm appt that I had confirmed a couple of hours prior and the therapist was a no-show. She texted about 30 minutes later and said she had a family emergency. We have cell phones to cancel appts especially in the therapeutic field. I don't want to continue a therapeutic relationship when I question her ability show up.

I was matched with a therapist through Octave. He arrived 11 minutes late (Octave said it was 8 minutes late), and the session ended abruptly 5 minutes before the end of the hour, for a total of 44-47 minutes. I had filled out all the pre-requisite materials about a week in advance of my first appointment, with detailed descriptions of my mental health history. My therapist seemed scattered, disorganized, and had not read any of my on-boarding materials or mental health history, and didn't even know my name. The ONLY thing discussed during this first session was, point-by-point, the same on-boarding questions I had already answered in writing beforehand. I was charged $430.00 for this appointment (Octave said this is the standard rate for all appointments booked through their platform), of which $212.32 was paid by my insurance, requiring $217.68 out of pocket. I called Octave about this, and was told that the therapist has a 15 minute grace period, and is not "required" (but, "is encouraged") to read any of the patient on-boarding materials ahead of time, so there is "no problem as [they] see it". This was, by far, the most unprofessional and disappointing experience I have ever had in over 20 years of working with therapists and therapy providers.

Buyer beware. There costs and fees are not clear and they will not resolve billing issues! Do not use this platform

They tried to charge me $200 when I never seen a therapist the appointments was for 6 AM. They called me at 4 AM. Then I said I won’t be able to answer cause it’s too early because they called me two hours before hand they were only supposed to charge me $45 for not showing up, they charge me $200

Because they deleted my review I’m writing another one. These scammers charged me after I canceled my service. When I initially made the appointment the website crashed and I NEVER received a confirmation that my booking went through. I continued to get calls from an unknown number but they NEVER left a voicemail saying who the were. Suddenly I got a text saying my appointment is upcoming and it had theoption to cancel. I CANCELED and continued to get calls. They stopped texting however I got charged $100 on my account weeks later for a service that was NEVER PROVIDED. I have screenshots and prof of everything and there is no customer service. I even tried logging to my account to speak with someone and guess what?? They said no account existed so how did I get charged??? Really bad service that takes advantage of people who need help
