What a wealth (lol) of information this company has provided me regarding my personal financial situation. It has been tough to maneuver through all of my finances and realize that I had to make some tough decisions. However, I have also been elated to learn just how much I have done right. There was no rule book when I opened my business ten years ago and I always struggled with decisions about money having no one to really confide in. Financial Gym has filled a niche for people like me that was so needed. I no longer feel like I am making decisions “hoping” for a good outcome. With help from Financial Gym I know I am. Thank you.

I found The Financial Gym to be a great investment--I was offered a scholarship so I could participate because I am temping and come from a working-class background where I would struggle to pay the full rate. I am grateful for their desire to help me with the belief that I would gain so much from being a part of the Gym. They were so right and just so helpful as financial advisors and an educational resource. I look forward to the workshops, the one-on-ones with my Financial advisor and the support from other gym members and the staff. It's a wonderful place to learn and grow.

As someone who's always had issues with money, being trained at The Financial Gym has changed the trajectory of not only my financial life, but personal life. I finally feel like I have control of my finances - because I do!

I have been struggling with money since my first job at 16, and having a "trainer" at The Financial Gym has helped me drastically improve my relationship with money and has made me feel empowered about my finances for the first time in a long time. (My focus has been paying down debt + building up short-term savings.) While it is another expense, I find it is worth the money if I have additional meetings with my trainer and occasionally use the NYC office as a co-working space. However, the online budget tool could have a better interface + more services.

I first went to a Financial Gym Budgeting Bootcamp 101 session and had the opportunitiy to speak with CEO Shannon McLay. I shared my goal to be in a better place financially, my interest in the gym’s services, and my hesitation at the monthly cost. She assured me of their money-back guarantee if I wasn’t in a better place than when I started. I’m so glad I joined! It hasn’t even been a full quarter since I joined, but I already feel more confident of my financial situation, the staff are fabulous, and I have the guidance of a great financial coach! Plus they have great learning sessions every week! I couldn’t recommend them more!

When I first attended an event at The Fin Gym, I was hooked. I heard Shannon's story and really appreciated her authenticity, humor and serious financial know-how. This was what I had been searching for. At first, I thought, there's no way I could afford a membership here... The place felt super modern, swanky and abundant, and that's not how I felt inside. But then I did the warm-up call and got in at a discounted rate on a top of a very reasonably priced membership. I have come to love everyone I meet at the Fin Gym. When I lost my job in January, I didn't need to panic. For the first time in my life, I had an emergency fund to help me get by until I found the right next job. This was huge for me as I grew up living paycheck to paycheck. I owe my attention to saving money to the Fin Gym. They have my wholehearted recommendation and then some! Much love.

I love the Financial Gym, it is so helpful to have someone I can talk to about my money problems and concerns. I was in such a bad place financially that I didn't think there was anything that the gym could even do to help. I also felt that there was no way I could afford to work with them due to how bad off my finances were. The Financial Gym has worked with me despite all of my problems and I will be forever grateful. All I can say is DO NOT WAIT ANY LONGER to get on track to being financially fit.

The Gym provides affordable, accessible, honest and down to earth financial planning to all.
