Terri was a great support and sympathetic ear during a painful transition in my life. She helped me get a better handle on my financial position during a time of upheaval, with suggestions for improvement that touched on many areas. In addition to the solid financial information, plan and advice, she was a pleasure to work with.

6 months ago, I was in the middle of the pandemic and fighting to keep my business afloat. I'm a self-employed artist who has been working for myself for about two years. My personal financial life was in shambles, and I was still struggling to understand the differences between my personal/business account. I was also $10k in credit card debt with no savings to my name. I reached out to financial gym and got set up with Abby. Her friendliness, incredible knowledge, and patience helped me gain confidence to take charge of my financial life. 3 months into working with her, I've chopped off THOUSANDS of dollars off my debt, added THOUSANDS of dollars to my emergency savings, and have a better idea of how my paycheck should be distributed (remember, I'm a small business owner and pay myself). Having an accountability partner is major for me. Financial Gym is what I needed, it's so worth the minimal fee I pay, and they actually care about my growth. I also want to mention that they're very friendly and accessible to black business owners like myself who may not have grown up comfortable discussing wealth and money at home. THANK YOU ABBY

This was my first time seeking a financial advisor and I am beyond happy with my experience! Tina Hang is my trainer and I am insanely grateful for her. I've been with Financial Gym for over a year now and because of her guidance and diligence with me, my credit score has gone up 100 points. I am really proud of how far I've come financially in general because of her. She makes me feel so comfortable and we have so much fun in our sessions. She rules.

Since being in my twenties I struggled with saving money due to lack of financial literacy. Being tired of living paycheck to paycheck I decided to make a change! I didn't think I could but I did and am so HAPPY I stepped out my comfort zone. It's true that in order to have a comfortable life you have to do uncomfortable things. It was a pleasure to work with the Financial Gym. We wanted to tailor content to a very specific set of participants (bartenders), and the instructors were willing to teach after hour sessions as well as incorporate content that spoke directly to hospitality professionals. As a business ourselves hiring FinGym to offer value to external partners, we truly appreciated their flexibility, communication, and transparency.

I made the decision to join the program and I can honestly say I don’t regret it at all. In the last year I revamped my finances, was educated, and learned more than I could on my own.
