The Financial GymReviews of financialgym.com

The FinGym is an excellent resource at any stage of your financial journey. I have been working with them for several years through a layoff, city relocations, and am now working towards my future goals. Can't recommend this service enough. My new trainer Sarah is a star!

I worked with Gina at the Financial Gym over the last 3-4 years, and it was a stellar experience. She helped me create a clearer, workable budget for myself, get smart about savings goals, and overall, increased my net worth by about 200%. Overall, I would highly recommend them if you are looking to build financial literacy in an environment where they aren't looking to take a percentage of your money.

I've been using The Financial Gym for several years and highly recommend. They've made such a big impact on my financial health. This is not something that I knew much about at baseline but I've learned a ton, and have been able to invest and redirect my money so much more effectively and increase it's worth. They've been able to meet me where I am at and help me move forward in really significant ways. In my case the result really speaks for itself and proves the value of working with The Financial Gym.

Sara is the absolute best. I appreciate how she addresses the emotional component of financial wellness and the roots of how we feel about money. She’s incredibly motivating and never judgmental. I am in a better financial place and mindset because of her. I can’t recommend FG enough.

Gina was amazing super kind and super knowledgeable !! Looking forward to working with her in the future!

As a 34 yr old educator living in NYC, I wanted to have the ability to not have fear or anxiety surrounding my finances and gain confidence in terms of learning how to better manage my assets and set realistic goals for myself. That is exactly what the financial gym provided me with. I had my first session with Ijal Thompson in December 2023 and Ms. Thompson was not only able to provide me with a realistic finance plan that would help me manage my income which included high yield savings, retirement and many other things. But she also spoke to me about short and long term goals and how I could potentially achieve them in the near future. It was such a well thought out session which I truly enjoyed. Ms. Thompson was efficient and had a great level of understanding and professionalism that made me feel comfortable with speaking to her about my income which I know can be a sore spot for many. I cannot recommend the financial gym enough! If you’re thinking about it, do it! You won’t regret it. Ask for Ijal Thompson!

When I started, I felt so much shame and anxiety about finances that I couldn’t even look at my bank accounts. My coach, Sara, has helped me build skills through education and nonjudgmental accountability. After a year with TFG, I’ve paid down thousands of dollars of credit card debt while also building my first emergency savings fund. I even lost my job last year, and while it was stressful, I successfully adjusted my budget and weathered the storm. I feel so much more excited about my future, now that I feel on top of my finances.

I’ve been with FinGym for quite a while now, and I can say it’s helped me to get on track with my financial goals. I work with Erika, and she’s super encouraging and always willing to schedule check-ins to help me workshop something in either dealing with finances or planning for. I’ve suggested this service to my friend, who loves it too. I am happy I started. I would surely recommend you do too if you're interested!
