Buyer beware. I had a very difficult time canceling my recurring Final Round AI subscription. I canceled through the company’s website before the September 17 renewal date, but was subsequently charged $150 on September 17 and another $150 on October 21, totaling $300.
Despite more than ten emails, I still haven’t resolved the disputed charges or received the refund I’m requesting. I’ve contacted the Better Business Bureau, which is looking into my complaint.
Based on my experience, I recommend reading other customer reviews carefully before subscribing and keeping records of any cancellation and correspondence.

Worst experience ever
Worst experience ever. The browser option was better although it had its limitation but once they stopped the browser forcing everyone to use the app version, its a mess. It has disappointed me over 10 times and I gave up.
Unfortunatley I signed up for the yearly plan and paid about $300 so I am stuck with it. Tried to get a refund but no luck.
You can never rely on it for interview prep and support

Extremely Disappointing Experience with FinalRoundAI
I purchased the Premium subscription expecting a reliable AI copilot for live interviews, but unfortunately, my experience was extremely disappointing.
The Windows desktop application is noticeably slow, and the Go Live feature automatically jumps to newer responses before you're finished reading or using the current one. There's no way to pause or lock an answer in place, causing you to lose your spot and completely disrupting the natural flow of conversation. For a product designed to assist during live interviews, this is a major flaw.
What made the experience even worse was the customer support chatbot. Despite repeatedly explaining my concerns, it continued giving the same generic, irrelevant responses without actually addressing the problem. For a company specializing in AI, having a chatbot that performs this poorly seriously raises questions about how reliable its interview copilot technology really is.
To make matters worse, I learned that FinalRoundAI deducts payment processing fees from refunds regardless of the payment method used. This information is buried in their refund policy rather than clearly disclosed during the subscription or checkout process. I couldn't even find a clearly visible link to the refund policy on the subscription or payment pages. Customers shouldn't have to dig through fine print to discover they won't receive a full refund under an advertised money-back guarantee.
I only used the product for a few brief test calls with a family member, all under 15 minutes, and quickly realized I couldn't trust it during an actual interview.
I genuinely wanted to like FinalRoundAI, but between the slow performance, frustrating usability issues, incredibly disappointing customer support, and lack of transparency around refunds, I cannot recommend it.
For a company selling AI-powered interview assistance at Premium subscription prices, this entire experience has been an absolute joke.

The price is very high at $150 a month
The price is very high at $150 a month, and customer support is completely unresponsive. I’m convinced their support replies are automated by AI rather than handled by real people. Since I really needed an AI interview assistant, I eventually switched to Linkjob AI. The experience has been much better, and their support is available 24/7 to answer my questions. It’s very beginner-friendly.

Very disappointing billing experience
Very disappointing billing experience. I thought I was starting a free trial but was charged $150. I used the software for only about 15 minutes and requested a refund immediately, yet support made the process unnecessarily complicated even after I provided the official receipt and invoice. Be very careful during checkout.

Do not fall for this service
Do not fall for this service. Final Round AI advertises a low monthly rate $25/month, but the moment you check out, they bill your card upfront for a full annual subscription $300+ instead of charging month-to-month.
To make matters worse:
The product fails in real time: The live interview copilot either freezes, provides delayed responses, or gives completely irrelevant suggestions during actual calls.
Refusals to refund: When you try to cancel or dispute the improper full-year charge, customer support hides behind strict, misleading refund policies and automated responses to keep your money.
This platform feels completely deceptive-misleading marketing up front, an unreliable tool during live interviews, and terrible support when you try to fix billing issues. Avoid them and save your money.

I was charged $250
I was charged $250, and the customer service experience has been terrible. It seems to be entirely AI-based, and I have not been able to reach an actual human representative.
The responses often do not address what I am actually asking and instead repeat generic templates that are unrelated to my question. This has made a simple billing issue extremely frustrating to resolve.
Very disappointing support experience.

Misleading cancellation process & zero human support. Avoid!
Beware of their billing practices! I signed up for Final Round AI but realized it wasn't for me, so I canceled my subscription directly through my account dashboard on the exact same day. Like on any normal platform, you expect this to stop the charge, especially if you haven't used the service at all.
Instead, I realized later that I was fully charged €216.26. Why? Because simply clicking "Cancel" in their UI is not enough. They hide a sneaky rule stating you must manually email them within 72 hours to get your money back. The UI makes you think you are safe, but it's a pure dark pattern designed to trap your money.
To make things worse, their customer support is 100% run by bots. When I reached out to explain the situation—highlighting that I had 0 minutes of usage and canceled the platform immediately—the automated AI agent just flat-out refused the refund because I missed their "hidden" 72-hour email window. The craziest part? The bot literally wrote back to me: "I also can't route this to a human agent."
So you are trapped by a misleading interface, and then blocked by a bot that refuses to let you speak to a human manager.
I am now forced to initiate a chargeback procedure with my bank for deceptive billing. Do not give them your credit card details!
