FastestVPNReviews of fastestvpn.com

They are one of the slowest VPN services I have seen. That slow speed is okay, given the low price of their plan. What I hated the most is that they sell your email to advertisers. You start receiving a lot of spam emails from centercorporate.com and usndr.com after a few days of signing up. This is so unprofessional and annoying. They should stop this asap and act like a professional company.

Is FastestVPN good? Well, to be honest, this question does not have a straightforward answer. Yes, it is good as in it is cheap. But is it worth the money, maybe not! The lifetime subscription in itself is a ruse for people to end up saying some money at least. Yes, their customer service is good and yes their VPN sometimes works well, while other times it is just painstakingly slow. Thus, if you have not bought the service, maybe save up and wait for something better. But if you can only spare 20$, and you do not use VPN much, this just might work for you! P.S: If you are wondering, I am the second type of guy. :/

Frequently disconnects, the app feels like it is made by a college graduate, and MOST IMPORTANTLY: The Kill Switch (i.e. Supposed to safely block all Internet traffic if the VPN connection drops) DOES NOT block uploads - so if you are torrenting and the connection drops then your ongoing uploads WILL BE Exposed. Mobile app is slightly better than PC app. Ignoring this major flaw in the kill switch, the VPN itself passes all VPN tests so it is robust when it works. Their live chat customer support is good and responsive. Frequent disconnections make it impossible to use for any streaming like IPTV etc. Also, this is so cheap that I suspect that it is not financially viable for them. i.e. They must be storing logs or selling (anonymised?) data to make any sort of profit, although they do claim to have a strict no logs policy.

15 day money back is a scam! Although I got a lifetime subscription the service is not worth it. I requested a refund but they wont give my money back!

The app is not the best, but the support team is great. They were able to resolve a problem I had been having in no time. Thank you.

FastestVPN is good. Pros: They have an 5-star customer service team. They support every platform. Their apps are very good. Cons: It used to be very fast but in recent months I notice their servers are slowing down. E.g., the UK server used to be over 200 Mbps but now it 38 Mbps. Germany is still the fastest server at 150 Mbps during peak time. Overall, it's a good product with room for improvement. It gets the job done for 4K streaming but I rarely use it for super fast downloads. edit, A while after posting this review I have noticed a very pleasant increase of server speed and reliability. E.g., the UK servers are now consistently >200 Mbps. A couple of European servers have sped up significantly too, I've used them regularly for a few weeks now and it's been great. On that basis, I am very happy to upgrade my review from 3 stars to 5 stars.
