Eventually I had to give Finance of…
Eventually I had to give Finance of America Reverse FIVE STARS. It took a while and a number of appraisals, but they gave me exactly what my goal amount was. Loan officer, Notary and 2nd appraiser were great
My loan officer Ryan was great. The first appraiser made many mistakes that I caught and was $30,000 off. She was also extremely unprofessional and slow. Ryan got the appraiser to look at some of her mistakes I pointed out. She redid the appraisal but still came in very low. Then FHA wanted a second appraisal. This man was very professional and the price came in right were it should have. Unfortunately, due to FHA rules, I could only use the first appraisers highest appraisal. This took months to complete because the first appraiser was so slow and did such a horrible job. Last, the notary who did closing at my home was wonderful. She was very professional and really knew what she was doing.

Had an appraisal on my house about 3…
Had an appraisal on my house about 3 yrs ago & to refinance the loan you required a new appraisal & it came in lower than 3 yrs ago kind of stupid as this is a resort area where housing prices have lncreased tremendously

This company has ALWAYS treated me with…
This company has ALWAYS treated me with kindness and respect. Friendly personnel who are knowledgeable and helpful, pointing out ways the government has to help where needed...knowledge that is not commonly known. I trust Finance of America to help me be free from worry and for allowing me to live in my home until I die, without the worries that usually come as we near the end of our lives. We should not have to worry about having a place to live when we have worked all of our lives to obtain that dream. Our "golden years" are just that when Finance of America standing by us.
