FaresplanetReviews of faresplanet.com

As soon as I booked a flight online I got flooded with calls from India to rebook and they wouldn't cancel the transaction. I'll blacklist the sight for my company.

Fares Planet is **** ABSOLUTELY **** the worst travel agency in the world. NEVER EVER USE THEM!! They are a complete scam. I made a reservation on April 13 to fly back home to Ky. There was no call, text or message that anything was wrong. Today when I went to get a ticket for my flight there was no reservation for me. I called them and they told me the flight had been cancelled. They they tried to sell me a ticket at 3 times the price. I called the Hotwire to change the reservation and they needed proof the flight had changed. I gave them the flight numbers and they said the flights were not cancelled. So Fares PLanet lied about that! So now thanks to Fares PLanet I am out $1200 for a flight, $150 for a hotel. At least the airport parking was able to change the dates for me. NEVER EVER USE FARES PLANET, THEY ARE A COMPLETE SCAM AGENCY! HORRIBLE HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE. PLEASE SHARE THIS SO OTHERS ARE NOT SCAMMED LIKE I WAS!

Zero Integrity!! This company will never deserve 5 star reviews. The 1 star review or if possible, lower is better: How do you advertise a fare, then call within the hour or so to tell that the fare has gone up or seats are no longer available. Yet on the website, it still shows the same price and number of seats available, one would think it is a scamming operation in effect here.

I think the 5 star reviews are written by the people at Faresplanet. The reality is in the 1 star reviews: they advertise a fare, then they call you within 5 hours or so and tell you the fare has gone up. When I received the call, I went back to their website. On the phone they said they couldn't do better than 420, but on the site the fare was still listed for 323. Finally, I got them to settle at 385. But it's certainly a bait and switch.

These people are horrible! They make reservations they cannot honor! They wanted me to pay more than what I agreed to And they wanted me to leave from another State! I put in my preference that I did not want alternate airports. Do Not Waste Your Time with this company!!!!

Excellent SERVICE ITS REALLY BEST

As with others this is a bait and switch. I booked flights from LAX to BOS through Faresplanet for $540. Within 10 minutes they call back and say they cannot honor the price for $540, but they will honor it for $610. At this juncture I told them to cancel it. I go back to their website and it still shows the $540 price with 9 seats available. I booked again for $540. Now I'm getting another phone call for the same bait and switch speech. I spoke with someone by the name of Cyrus Miller (Supervisor).

Book with caution! I booked a flight this evening, only to receive a call back a couple hours later telling me that they couldn't honor the advertised price and asking for more money. I probably would have been okay with the higher price if it had been advertised, but the whole experience just felt like a scam at that point!
