Faresplanet.com is a fraudulent travel website. They called immediately after giving me a fake booking to say that the fare increased ~$100. Other customers report that to "cancel" a booking is ~$100 or agree to pay for tickets that are ever booked. They use "bait and switch" pressure tactics to force customers to pay for a cancellation fee when reservations were not actually ever booked, in my experience.

A COMLETE FRAUD! Took a chance and bought a ticket through Faresplanet and within hours a rep phoned from India saying they cannot honor the price and that need to pay $180 more and used pressure sales tactics to get me to agree, which I did not. Suddenly the price was "only" increased by $85, and then $57 after 30 minutes on the phone. I asked to speak to a manager, but was told that there is no manager available (everyone is outside?!), that there is a shift-change happening and no other people are available, that the rep does not know who the company owner is and he refused to give me the physical address, stating that they are not allowed to provide this information!!? I gave up and reported them to the US DEPARTMENT OF TRANSPORTATION. Buyer Beware!!

Bait and switch, upped price by over $100 then again for more. Took a week because they said they couldn’t get the flight even though the original one I chose was still on their website. They do not buy packs of tickets, that’s BS. When they finally booked a flight, it was missing the last leg of the flight. I finally got sick of it and canceled with them. Never got the $95 fee back. Do not book with these guys they are frauds.

They are a bait and switch company. You book a trip at a price that does not exist and then they call you and tell you that price expired and try and sell you a ticket for hundreds of dollars more. Total False Advertising. They should be put out of business

We got a great deal and very kind service from Jerry at Fares Planet. He remembered me each time I called, and was very patient and informative on where we were at in the process. Honestly I was concerned when I got such a low price, then got a phone call that the price was going to be a little higher (It was about $100 higher. Not much.) But it turned out that I was able to get two round trip flights for my son and I, way below what other sites were advertising. It took a couple of days and a couple extra phone calls with Fares Planet for the flights to get ticketed, but now we have confirmation numbers and our Delta Airlines flight itineraries all set. And I know we're good to go from looking on the Delta Airlines website -- they have our itineraries listed under our confirmation numbers and names. Fares Planet buys tickets in bulk, so when an airline cancels or changes a leg of your flight, Fares Planet has to call you to make new arrangements. That's why it took a couple extra days and phone calls to plan our flights. I think they should advertise on their site a little differently (maybe put a range of prices rather than one advertised price), so people don't get confused and write bad reviews. (Because the advertised price may change when the airlines change the flight.) I would recommend to anyone looking for a good deal, to try this service out. Because the bottom line is, I got my flights for $400-$800 less than what was advertised everywhere else. I got great service from Jerry, too. Sometimes it can be hard to trust someone on the phone you've never met. I had a couple red flags and wasn't sure if I should go through with the deal. But my husband and I decided that if anything went wrong, it would be easy to solve by cancelling the credit card charges. So we gave it a try and I'm glad we did. If you're nervous, just use a credit card for the transaction, since credit cards are protected in this way (the ability to reverse the charges.) You won't actually need to reverse the charges, but it might add some peace of mind knowing that you could if you needed to. I'm recommending this service to my other friends and family for sure.

I thought I had found a wonderful deal on flights but didn't receive any confirmation tickets after waiting for 4 hours. I tried to call the number, which was disconnected, and then waited online for the costumer service representative which took forever. Finally, someone in broken English calls to switch all my flights and tell me if will cost an additional $150 per person! I should have listened to the reviews. Please do not purchase from this site. If the deals are too good to be true, they are. Such a waste of time.

Fares planet is the besttt I literally was about to get a ticket and delta is so cheap it says it cost 325.11 but in reality it said 288 dollars!!! Faresplanet is the besttt!!!!
