In 2014, I contacted a representative of FAMR seeking assistance in the SAM registration process. Amazingly, the representative took the time to listen to the details of my dreams of developing a non-profit. Unlike my family and friends, the representative shared in my excitement and encouraged me to continue. Although I was anxious and overly excited to get started, I wasn't fully prepared to complete the process. I was given instructions of what all was needed to proceed and was grateful for the info. Unfortunately, due to a continuous series of events. my dream of starting my non-profit was put on hold. I was only able to concentrate a little of my time towards gathering what was needed. Finally, in 2020, six years later, I was ready. I called FAMR and miraculously, without explanation or hesitation, they remembered me. The past six years concerning the development of my non-profit was filled with a lot of disappointments prompting me to want to quit, but the efforts of assistance from FAMR was a breath of fresh air. The easy step-by-step process sparked excitement back into my dream. I was on board with the instructions of the process and felt empowered by the success of each completed task. I am Brenda Elizabeth Henry, President and CEO of the newly established 501c3 non-profit "We Are Saved By Grace" and because of the excellent customer service and professional efforts of Thomas Routzon, Vincent (Vinny) Rodriguez and the amazing Lindsey Hart, I am officially active in the System for Award Management (SAM)!
