FairbookdealsReviews of fairbookdeals.com

As the other reviews said this site is a damn scam. I got sold fake copies of fire punch, the covers were blurry and didnt match the official ones, the box containing them all was torn and messed up and the other volumes were scratched and damaged. They were labeled "new" by the way so all around just bad experience, not to mention it came from India so that's already a red flag. They get you with the "deals" making you think you're getting a decent discount on items but really you're just getting finessed. How this site hasn't gotten taken down yet is beyond me cause cleary these mfs are scammers. Customer support is fake, the number doesn't work and they dont respond to the email which is most likely fake too. DO NOT BUY FROM THIS SITE!

I bought some Zelda manga from Fair Book because they were selling it for about $10 cheaper. Thought why not. Will not be buying from them again. The delivery box was a nightmare, clearly looked like it had been thrown around and used as a football. The box that’s meant to hold the books was torn, hand dents, and bent corners. The books themselves had dents, some pages ripped, and when I compared some of the other volumes I already had to these that I bought, the books were thinner and just looked… different. I don’t know if that’s because these were a collectors box of all volumes or what. The current return/refund policy is rather excessive. Sending pictures is fine, but most video files are too large to send through email and they say they require a full unboxing video like I’m some YouTuber. I’ve emailed them within an hour of delivery with pictures and I’m hoping for a positive response, but so far I haven’t received anything from them yet. Very disappointing. *Update (6/17/25): I have received an email from customer support that I will be receiving a full refund. I do appreciate their help. I will update this review once more when I see the refund back to my account.

If I could rate zero stars I would. I ordered nearly 200 dollars worth of books and I was sent ALL counterfeit items. It was supposed to be a complete set and the counterfeits don’t even go halfway through the book series, and were barely half the amount of pages compared to genuine copies. Customer service was sketchy, not professional, and didn’t seem to believe me when i told them about the books being counterfeits, even after sending pictures multiple times. The website is fairly new it seems, and has fake contact information listed for them and their address is probably fake too. Refund policy is another huge red flag stating that they want you to record the entire unboxing start to finish if you want a refund etc… whole experience was super weird and I don’t recommend anyone ever buying from this bogus site that clearly has ulterior motives.

If I could rate 0 stars I would. My mom (Shannon Telep) ordered the complete box set of Tokyo Ghoul:RE for me which stated on the page saying the condition is "like new" that couldn't be farther from the truth. When I received the package the box of the books was dirty and destroyed, not only that but the books were very dirty and scratched. As I read through them the pages were VERY faded almost to the point where you couldn't even make out the image in EVERY SINGLE BOOK I didn't think anything of it since this was my first manga. As I read on there were literal groups of pages just falling out of the book some of the books were even printed the wrong way. These books are EASILY COUNTERFITS it's like the just printed them and glues the pages together. DO NOT BUY FROM THEM.

1 Star is 1 too many. My son purchased with he THOUGHT was a full set of Demon Slayer manga. The description was for a used shelf set that had been previously owned. It was obvious when we opened them that they were COUNTERFEIT KNOCK OFFS. My son has issues #1 & 2. We used them for comparison, NOT EVEN CLOSE. We sent them emails with photos for proof. Awaiting their response. Customer Service phone just rings busy, then hangs up on you. DO NOT BUY FROM THESE THIEVES!

I bought 2 One Piece box sets here. The second I opened the package, I knew they were both fakes. Mangas were reprinted and everything. Box was horribly put together and did not even look like the real thing

I got this on sale and am so happy to have added it to my collection! Great quality and probably the best way to get all of One Piece. Can't wait for box 5 to come out, whenever that happens.

Do not shop here. 1 star is too much. I ordered a "NEW" box set of manga, but received a clearly USED set. There was no plastic wrap, no exterior "suitcase" box, no bonus poster or bonus comic that all comes included in a new box set. The box was old and beat up and all the books were out of order, bent and won't lay flat on a table. When I asked for a refund (their website states "100% Money Back Guarantee") they told me it was "unread, unused, and new" and "The box may seem a lil worn because they have been with me for a while". I told them this is unacceptable and still want a refund, and now they won't respond. AGAIN, do not shop here! *UPDATE 3/6/2025- As you can see, the company replied to my review here stating they gave me a refund. THEY DID NOT REFUND MY MONEY. *UPDATE 3/7/2025 Again, THERE WAS NO REFUND.
