easy shopping in finding right part

Just got sucked in for the 2nd time on orders from the factory outlet store. Both were for marine electronics. Each time, I would order items on their website that were listed as “In Stock”, only to receive an e-mail, after the confirmation e-mail, telling that the item was not in stock. Except this last time, they added a $212.00 2 day shipping charge for the supposedly out of stock item (Ultrex Mega 360 Transducer). So, they added an express shipping charge for an item they did not have, and they did it without my request for 2 day shipping. They sucked me in on an Ultrex trolling motor that I ordered back in early February. Still waiting on that. This outfit is in my opinion, is not a trustworthy business and has very questionable business practices at best. Be very careful when ordering anything from them. I got fed up and canceled the last order within a few minutes after I called when I got the 2nd out of stock e-mail on my 2nd order. Fool me once, shame on me. Fool me twice and it’s shame on you. I received a call from a “supervisor” the next day after my original posting. She did apologize for the issues I have been dealing with. She also stated that they(FOS) would review their practices. They did take down the “In Stock” listing, and changed it to “Reserve”. Which at least you know they don’t have what your looking for in stock. The last timing given to me on my trolling motor was shipping from Minn Kota on 4/1/22. It’s now 4/5/22 and still no trolling motor, no communications from FOS. Somehow I feel that they play” The checks in the mail” game to keep dragging folks along. Hopefully folks reading this post will make their purchase(s) with extreme caution when dealing with this business. Forget the website order, and call to verify stock and delivery details. It will save you tons of grief.

Extremely quick and easy to find what I wanted and check out. Great service.

Finally I found the product I was looking for, the Customer Service Department is excellent, they helped me to find the solution to my problem.
