Customer service issue -- I was charged…
Customer service issue -- I was charged during a sale for an item I did not order (minus a star for whatever prompted that to happen in the first place, since I had not participated in the sale at all). Using the chat, I contacted Customer Service -- the order was cancelled and the charge to my credit card was reversed immediately without any fuss (5 stars for the Customer Service response). Since I have heard others report of this happening as well with the "no checkout" sales, I do have a recommendation: When the window closes and the carts lock, all customers should be alerted immediately that the sale has closed and their account is going to be charged for these items in 24 hours unless the customer contacts FFF to indicate that there is an error in the invoice. This would avoid situations where the customer has not even been shopping in the sale (and thus would have NO REASON to even be monitoring their cart) from being incorrectly charged -- and then left with the prospect of figuring out "where the heck did this charge come from" and contacting Customer Support to get it fixed. A little Heads Up could pre-emptively could head off customer Headaches when they wake up with something that needs to be "fixed." (Especially when the problem is one that they had nothing to do with and no reason to even anticipate.)
