one of the products was shattered!

I subscribed to FabFitFun as an annual member, which allows choosing your box items in advance. I made my selections right at the beginning of the "Customization Period". In both of the 2 boxes I have received so far, the items have been incorrect, leaving me to spend time contacting Customer Care for them to remedy the situation. They did send me some other items but did not have most of my original selections in stock, so I now have a bunch of stuff I didn't really want to begin with. I'm happy that they sent "replacement" items but would have been happier to just receive my selection to begin with. That being said, their Customer Service team members have been wonderful to deal with and have done the best they could to rectify the errors on their end. I am happy with the quality of items in the boxes that I have received. Just not so happy that the mix-up has happened not just once, but twice, and that I am paying for the service of a customizable box.

I am not very happy with the spring box. It felt as though the items were not selected for me. I received 3 of one item and hair clips I could have bought for 1.34 at dollar tree. There was nothing special Luke a scarf or jewelry or writing set nothing. Out of the 8 items I will royally use 2. I world rather have had the R + C co shampoo and conditioner that I love and actually have tried to get.

I can't write a horrible review because I have had some great experiences with their customer service team but recently I had a box delivered that had a broken lotion that spilled all over the inside. I sent a message asking for a replacement item and they had me send a pic, no biggie... I completely get it but then they claimed they didn't get the picture and wanted me to send it a different way. By this time I was just upset and asked to send the box back and cancel my membership. I was given a link and told that I essentially can't cancel and will not be able to send the box back. The understanding and helpfulness was a zero which is really unfortunate because like I said, I have had some GREAT customer service in the past and have been a customer for many years. This will sadly be my last year when I figure out how to cancel without a penalty.

I upgraded my seasonal subscription to annual and missed the promo. I was not able to customize my box and had to go through customer service to customize. The agent was helpful but I wish I would have just held off on upgrading until a promo was available. The main item that I wanted wasn’t even available to pick, which is the whole reason I upgraded to annual before it ran out. All in all, would not upgrade to annual again.

Box was over a month late, had to reorder items or select from a list instead of images because previous items were sold out so I had to guess what they were. When I got the box the items were lacklustre and borderline disappointing for the super long wait. Also had delivery team call me at 4pm the day before saying they were dropping it that day, and I didn’t get it until 8am the next day, at which I was woken up by phone (it was a Sunday)

I love FFF, but this last box almost sent me over the edge. I have had one other box go missing and everything was dealt with efficiently. After 14 days of no movement, I contacted FFF and they automatically shipped a new box. This time, I made my way through 3 people prior to talking to anyone that was willing to start production on another box. The 3rd person was extremely blasé about it stating that "it will show up" and that the box was only not recording movement for "only14 days" never mind that it had been in transit for over a month and sitting in various other places for days on end. It wasn't until I went to the forums and posted about it that anyone did anything about it. Thankfully the new box was sent, I only missed out on 2 of my add-ons (one of which I really wanted) and now I sit hoping the same exchange doesn't happen over my spring box.

In general, I love my subscription but this last time I didn't feel the choices were optimal. There were 2 categories that I wound up saying "surprise me" because I wasn't at all interested in any one product. Then one of them was the wine opener, which I regifted because I don't drink.
