We understand how frustrating it is to receive a product that requires filing or sanding just to fit. Please do not modify the blades. We do not recommend filing or sanding the blade base, as this may affect safety and performance. To help us check this properly, could you please send us: A photo of the blade shank/base (the part that goes into the saw), and Your Ryobi saw model number (if available) Once we receive that information, we will review the compatibility issue and offer a solution. If the blades are not compatible with your tool, we can assist you with a replacement (if applicable) or a refund, depending on your preference.
