Visited Store in Springfield Illinois Absolutely was shocked the Store was filled with people only two opticians. Was told to wait when asked if I needed to Check in 30 min later asked again, and was told they are full I would need to schedule an appointment. I called the next morning to be greeted by Optican Gayle who was extremely Rude, very aggravated that I had questions. I am a retired Optican, and know the information she was giving was incorrect. I explained I needed to make an appointment she proceeded to tell me the Doctor was leaving at 1:30 not happening. This Store needs a revamp it’s potential to succeed is limitless if you have Staff that are there to serve the Public, and be blessed they have a job instead of angry, rude, and of no assistance if I could rate this store a 0 I would very dissatisfied

Staff and Management are helpful and friendly. Prices are reasonable Service is with a smile and effieient.

Very rude Employees even the manager. Waiting over 4 hours. No one cares not even the customer service DID NOT CARE. at all. I have been coming here for year and it WAS great. That all went down the tubes. Very mad and no one cares. Done with them forever!!!🤬

Prices are a bit high compared to other better quality glasses/shops on the gulf coast and online. The customer service is not good at all, unless you speak directly with a manager. Called to see if I could get a replacement pair of my glasses that were destroyed and lost in a near fatal car accident I was recently in. After going through unnecessary trouble with a rude employee who kept talking over me and claiming she couldn’t find my acct/purchase history info, I spoke with the manager who asked me ONE question and pulled up the acct/purchase history with ease. I purchased a pair of glasses in Jan 2024 for $141.88 and bought the $30 1-year warranty along with it. The manager tells me I can’t have the glasses replaced bc the $30 warranty for these unnecessarily expensive PLASTIC glasses only cover scratches, cracks, or breaks.. not lost/stolen items… NEVER buying from eyemart express again. ✌🏽

I was planning on buying two pairs of glasses so was happy to see their sale of 2 glasses for $40. Saleswoman insisted I needed progressives. Took me to a different rack and picked out different frames. Insisted I should use my insurance. With insurance the total came to over $300! I then wanted to return to the frames on sale and she kept pushing progressives. Luckily my husband came to my rescue and reminded her of the sale two progressives for $80. You can see that sale online but not in the store. At that point I was ready to take my prescription to a competing eyeglass store in the same plaza. I carried on with sale. It is a good deal and my glasses were ready within a half hour. My feelings towards the salesperson who kept insisting on getting progressives and taking advantage of my insurance was not good. She would have easily taken advantage of me. That is not a feeling I like. I will be trying the competition if I need to replace these glasses in the future.

I moved alburquerque 6 years ago and had been visiting the eyemart express on Carlisle for that time period and the service had been pretty good. Generally they're busy and short staffed. I went in several time with a pair of glasses that needed adjustment or warranty issues and didn't have to sign in and wait in line for my turn, The staff was always helpful and friendly. In March of this year I went in to have a pair of glasses bought there to have the screws tightened [the staff was new] on the frames and was told that I to signin like everybody else and wait my turn. I guess I had been spoiled by the previous staff, but when my turn came up, the the staff who helped me was rude. I ended up leaving and going to the Eyemart Express on Holly. When I walked in they were some what busy. I had the screws on my glasses addressed nin a jiffy. Nice and friendly staffperson. I will now be going to that store from here forward.

I had a horrible experience that I just need to get off my mind. I usually don’t complain but I’m just so frustrated. We have to travel over an hour to get to our closest Eyemart express. That’s why we like the feature of having them same day. This last time we went they told us that one of there machines were broken and they wouldn’t be ready until the next day. So we opted to have them mailed to us. She told us about a week. So we wait, 1 week. We call. They respond we will mail today. 2 weeks go by still no glasses. So we call. The glasses were still just sitting there. Never mailed. So we go down and pick them up. The women that helped us said the system was down. That’s why they were never sent out. Even though they lied to us and said they were in the mail. I paid over $ 400 since I don’t have insurance and have had nothing but trouble with my new lenses. Blurry, seeing double. Extremely frustrated. I don’t even want to go back because of the bad experience so far. I’ve been using Eyemart express for over 15 years and have always enjoyed the glasses in an hour with no issues. This will be my last time using there service. Just so frustrated.
