I wanted to enjoy searching for glasses online. I uploaded a picture. Figuring out what size frame I needed was impossible, but I tried guessing (what do I measure on the glasses I own already?) and then filtering my search. But every time I went back to the original window, my search cleared. I ended up selecting something that would never fit. And when I tried to virtually try on the frames, the default 3D option never worked and I had to select 2D every time. It was frustrating that I knew who I was and what I needed but the system had to be told every time I discarded a frame style and moved on. God only knows if my picture was good enough for the glasses to fit properly (again, no instructions!)

Pros: Safelite does not make everyone wear the same pair. Cons: It was incredibly expensive to order what I medically need for work. I am a disabled marine corps veteran with nerve damage to my left optical nerve and brain. Light sensitivity is huge deal for me and to order transitions it was more than what I am comfortable affording starting out in a new job. I took of another start (3/5 star review) because there is an extra charge for ‘hardened/scratch resistant’, and to be able to see clearly. We are technicians who will be wearing these for up to twelve hours a day, in all types of weather, for six days a week- we need to be able to see clearly and have them scratch resistant to start with. But I almost couldn’t afford to work at this place because of these glasses.

Your company does offer an allowance that meets the basic needs, frame, lenses and scratch coating. Unfortunately extra options are out of pocket expenses. We will look into this. -Team Eyelation

So the first time I tried to order glasses. I went through and picked out the glasses I wanted with all the options. Submitted a picture of myself and submitted my prescription but the prescription I submitted was not correct so my order was completely canceled. Instead of me just having to resubmit my eye prescription, I had to start all over again.

it was easy and nice to be fitted for glasses. The lady doing it was a 5 star. I do wish yall had a phone contact to schedule the appt.- I'm sure there would be a better turnout than scanning that bar code only.
