I looked for several weeks for a tax professional I could trust and work with. I found companies that wanted to fill in every possible IRS form available (just in case), charge "research fees" on top of form filling fees, and do all this without actually speaking to me. Then I found Jamie and Expat Tax Professionals. Withing hours of filling in an initial interest form, I had an email from Jamie. Very soon after that we were talking on the phone. The next day we had a discussion about what his company could do for me. Later that day we had a definite plan. Jamie was honest, knowledgeable and clear in his descriptions of tax. I will be taking their advice and having them file my taxes now that I am retired and the forms have become more complicated to fill in. Thank you Jamie.

I was concerned about the consultation fees, but the tax advisor was knowledgeable and prompt, we were able to arrange meeting time over email, I provided documentation in advance and the review was handled quickly, payment was handled online with a receipt generated; I had some follow up questions that required more research and the advisor handed off to a colleague that was able to resolve post session inclusive of the original fee. I plan on using them when my taxes are due next year!
