I waited to write this and gave the new stuff a red hot go… So frustrated with the change to the double wear foundation. The old formula was the BEST foundation I’d ever found as an oily skin girl. This new one doesn’t event come close to- I can literally see beads of oil by midday coming though my skin. It also just doesn’t last like it says it does. I hate it so much I’m changing foundation completely. Why couldn’t you have just released a new line and kept the old stuff??? You’re not fooling anyone that the new formula prioritises using more product and hence people getting through bottles faster. But your greed will no doubt lose you plenty of loyal customers.

Zero stars if I could. Terrible experience and customer service.My package arrived sealed and flawless, but inside there was only packing paper and a sample; they never included the product I actually purchased. When I complained, customer service tried to force me to call the carrier, even though the mistake clearly happened at Estée Lauder's warehouse. After I refused, they told me that "as a courtesy" they would send the product since it was the first time this happened, making it clear that they do not guarantee your purchase if their logistics fail again. I decided to demand my money back. Do not risk your money with a brand that refuses to take responsibility for their shipments.

Used Estee Lauder double wear foundation for over 11 years with no issues. They have recently changed the formula and it couldn't of been a worse decision. I am now severely allergic to this product. Within an hour or two of putting on the foundation, the underneath of my eyes swell and for the following days I have chemical burns and swelling on the thinner skin around my eyes. This has happened multiple times since I baught the new formula, but has taken me time to determine the specific product from my makeup bag causing it. It is 100% the ELDW! I contacted Estee Lauder to try and work out what the specific ingredient is that's causing the reaction, but haven't had a reply. Went to try some different brands in order to start using a new foundation and the young lady in there wasn't shocked when I showed her the reaction pictures. She said it is now a common complaint.

I have the Resilience multi effect face & neck cream and the Perfectly Clean cleanser. My face & neck broke out with pimples, itchy, red marks and eyes watered itches and burned. What a waste. Now I'm dealing with trying to get rid of ugly pimples full of pus

The new double wear foundation is awful - feels like a face mask . I have worn double wear for years but since they changed it it’s sticky and thick. Dries hard.

I’ve been using Estée Lauder Double Wear because I love the lightweight feel and coverage, especially while I’m struggling with acne. Unfortunately, this new formula is a huge disappointment. The bottle I received is extremely runny and feels sticky on my skin, almost like hairspray. The coverage also seems to have dropped by about 60% compared to the previous formula. I’m paying a premium price for this foundation, and honestly, I’m getting nowhere near the quality I expected. At this point, I’d rather buy Catrice HD Liquid Coverage Foundation, which performs better for me at a fraction of the price. Very disappointed and I would not recommend the new formula.

The new Double Wear isn’t made in the colour I’ve been using for many years. And no other colour is right. I’ve just been in Boots and spoke to a make up lady who stated that she’d had a lot of Este Lauder customers since they’d changed the formula. If it isn’t broke why fix it. Why would you need foundation to stay on for 36 hrs!!!! I could hardly wash off the test samples.

Bring back the old formula for the double wear. This crap melts off like crazy in the AZ heat, doesnt cover even a quarter as well, its runny and cheap. The color isnt even the same!!!! Stop being greedy and just make a good product. If you've had the same product since the 90s, if it ain't broke dont fix it. So dumb.
