I spent weeks researching programs that aid in grading essays. I found that EssayGrader was the best fit for my 5th grade classes. My students write 6 essays a year, and I was averaging 25 hours of home time to grade each set. Since using EssayGrader this year, it has cut that time in half. I am able to upload my rubric, it's easy to upload essays from Google Drive or Google Classroom, it color coordinates the skills on my rubric to their essay, I can print the reports to pass back to my students or export to Google Classroom, and it's user friendly. I have completed one of the trainings as well, which was informative and helpful. Another bonus, every time I have used the chat feature, I am helped immediately, even late at night when I am grading. My only complaint is that I wish it printed the color-coordinated edits on the reports, but I am told that is in the works. As with any A-I feature, I still read through each essay and edit the scores and comments as needed. Still, this has been a game-changer for grading essays! I would highly recommend this to any teacher grading essays!

As an AP English teacher As an AP English teacher, I have to give many practice eesays to students. Grading essays is very time comsumoing, esp. when I have over 100 AP students. I decided to search online if there was a software or service that can help me with my grading. I first came upon CoGrader. It worked well, but I soon found it to be too complicated and time comsuming to enter the parameters. Then, I stumbled on Class Champion, it work well as first, but it also was time comsuming to input parameters and to access the feedback reports. Then, I found EssayGrader, which by now I felt it was going to give me the same experience. However, I soon found that it was easy to input my parameters and access the feedback. It even had a feedback copy feature that help to save me time to provide the feedback to students. In addition, EssayGrader also allows you to make scoring and feedback edits easily. I even had a question on accessing my pass feedback and used the chat feature for help, the owner himself reached out to me and withion minutes to help me. I am very happy with EssayGrader that I am a subscriber and will endorse it to my school district for subscription. I would recommend this service to any teacher or admin who wants to save grading time and have multiple options for feedback.
