Love This Tool! As an English writing instructor (9-12 largely AP focus) for the past thirty-years, I am happy to share that EssayGrader has been a most helpful tool in my assessment process. To begin, it is simple to submit/upload class documents to be graded. Second, creating and implementing course rubrics is easy as well. Third, the AI check is definitely a deterrent to those thinking of using it. Finally, I really enjoy the individualized feedback the students receive from the EssayGrader system as it breaks down the strengths and weaknesses, focusing on areas to improve upon. I am currently looking forward to using the updated plagiarism checker - this is a priceless tool for educators. Thank you.

I like how EssayGrader provides detailed writing feedback that can be forwarded to students. It is important to read through what it writes and verify that it’s what you want to say (sometimes it makes mistakes), but overall it’s great to have a grading assistant. One feature I would like to see would be the ability to type in numbers rather than sliding the scale. I like how it is connected with Google Classroom.

Saves lots of time with grading especially if you leave a detailed rubric. I would say that is very objective. If your campus uses canva or google classroom it integrates immediately. The only caveat is that it is quite expensive and you have to pay yearly vs. monthly. Also, AI detection is significantly higher price.

My experiences with Essay Grader have been great because of the program's quickness and thoroughness. It's also great because the platform saves me so much time.

I really appreciate being able to use STAAR criteria for the essay. I REALLY wish there was a way for it to grade short constructed responses.

This product didn't work for me, but I believe teachers who teach different subjects it would. I will say their customer is one of the best I have have EVER experienced. It is exemplary. How fast they respond, their aim to fix concerns, absolutely fantastic.
