No longer the Rolls Royce of skincare
Company has steadily lost its way since current owners took over in 2011. Most of the products that were originally recommended as part of my 'ritual' were either discontinued or drastically re-formulated. The pHelityl eye cream (which was amazing) was my go to eye cream. The packaging also changed (for the worse) - they had had the same classic black / white / marble packaging since the 1930s and now its very generic, more like a drugstore brand. Such a shame that a skincare icon is no more. (I did read an interview with the new chairman that said they were targeting the brand squarely at the Chinese market - this may explain some of the changes, but not all.)
