Stay away!!! Sparks in port Wentworth Georgia
The only reason we stayed at the Sparks hotel in Port Wentworth, Georgia .was because we thought we could quickly access our room digitally after a long drive—no check-in, no hassle. But what a complete nightmare that turned out to be. The digital key didn’t work at all, and when I finally had to go to the front desk, the person that served me was nothing but rude and nasty. After persistent frustration, I finally got my key, only to walk into a room that reeked of disgusting odor. It was utterly intolerable. Then, to make things even worse, when I woke up, I found their so-called "free" breakfast was a stale bagel and watered-down coffee—an insult to anyone expecting a decent meal. But that was just the start of the chaos. Upon leaving, I saw an unauthorized charge on my credit card. When I called the front desk and spoke to “Ram,” he had the audacity to claim it was a pet fee—despite me having no pet whatsoever. The person next to me, however, did have a dog. The so-called staff then brazenly claimed they saw a dog coming out of my room, based on footage from cameras they apparently have outside people's individual rooms This is absolutely infuriating and deeply disturbing. Cameras outside the rooms—how are they allowed to stalk guests that way? It feels invasive and downright creepy, as if they’re spying on us. I told them to check their camera again because there was no dog, and I warned that this was a massive breach of privacy. Other guests deserve to know that their rooms are monitored from the outside—what kind of place is this? This is by far one of the worst hotels I have ever encountered. The customer service is abysmal, and if you value your money and your privacy, stay far away from this place.
