Highly Recommend the UX Designer Course with Hang Le
I thoroughly enjoyed the How to Become a UX Designer course by Elvtr. As someone who is new to UX design, I tried for months to figure out where I should start learning about UX design first. This course helped me focus my learning and education ultimately giving me the jumpstart I needed. In the course we learned the entire UX design process and had real assignments to help us put what we learned into practice. We learned about user research, customer journey maps, problem framing, personas, wireframing, prototyping, designing high-fidelity solutions, presenting to stakeholders, and so much more. I am so much more confident in my ability to become successful in UX design.
My absolute favorite part of the class and something that I think sets Elvtr apart from other courses is that it is taught by industry professionals who have current, real-world experience. Hang Le was absolutely phenomenal! She is a true expert in the field of UX design and it is very clear that she put a lot of thought and effort into the course content and materials. I truly valued the feedback and guidance we were able to receive from Hang on assignments and the open office hours sessions as well! Both Hang and this course helped push me out of my comfort zone and I'm so much better for it.

Hard sells are a huge red flag.
I had a similar experience as Lawrence and Sandra. While the reviews on the courses seem good, the hard sell over the phone was a definitely red flag for me. My person I spoke with seemed to be in a call centre - there was so much background noise. She said it was an open office concept, so she moved somewhere quieter and in the process disconnected me. She spoke so fast, I couldn't keep up and could barely get a word in edgewise. It was as if she was on a timer to get the information out as fast as possible and move on to the next potential student. She asked about my background, but I'll bet it really didn't matter. As a technical writer with a background in adult education and previous instructor led course development, I was interested in learning about the tools used to create e-learning courses. What I got was a rushed, hard-sell, generic description, that did not address what I was looking for. She denied reading a script, but I think it's fairly obvious when someone is. I even suggested she stop and take a breath at one point, a suggestion she bristled at.

Hi Suzette,
Thanks for your feedback, we appreciate you taking the time to communicate your concerns. I agree, it does get rather noisy in the office at times and we are working on a solution for that. I can confirm that ELVTR does not operate a call centre but understand how you may get this impression. It can be frustrating speaking to someone on the phone that is not clear and concise so we will make sure to coach the person you spoke to about this.
In regard to reading from a script, I can affirm that there are certain important points that need to be relayed to potential students which may be interpreted as generic. These points however must be pointed out to ensure potential students are well informed so that they can make the best decision for themselves and their career development. It is our responsibility to ensure we are doing our due diligence here. We regret that you have had a negative experience with us and will ensure that we continue to do our best to make any improvements necessary. Thank you again for your comments, if you would like to discuss further we are always open speaking with you.

Digital Marketing Analytics Literally Changed the Course of My Life
I completed the Digital Marketing Analytics course with Kevin Hartman a couple of months ago. It's hard to express just how valuable this course was for me.
I had been interested in pivoting careers for quite some time, and as many of us do, I took to the internet to find some direction. However, I found myself overwhelmed with the selection of educational boot camps, incubators, and self-driven learning programs. Not to mention, many of the curriculums were so full of jargon, I often couldn't measure how to differentiate these programs from one another. I needed an expert just to understand some of the courses being advertised! I wanted a solution that was concise (didn't take 6-months to finish), but provided enough familiarity with a field of study that I could confidently decide if it was a viable career path for me. I also didn't want to break the bank and have to take out a loan, especially given the chance that I might not align with the course's subject matter.
This is where ELVTR and Digital Marketing Analytics shone. They offered a 6-week course, which is led by an industry titan who has a keen ability to make sophisticated topics feel familiar and simple. The quality time with Kevin is enough to make the course worth every penny (and it didn't cost many pennies anyway!), but the icing on the cake were the assignments. The projects Kevin assigned were often challenging, but they offered the opportunity to produce client-ready visualizations based on real-world data analysis.
Fast forward a couple of months. I found myself in several rounds of interviews for a data analyst role. Armed with my "portfolio" of data visualizations, and the frameworks I learned in Kevin's class, I was able to convince my interviewers on my ability to turn data into compelling client stories. This portfolio didn't even exist before September!
That's it! I landed my dream job because of this course -- no exaggeration. This course is what you make of it, and if you take it seriously and thoughtfully approach the assignments, it will pay real dividends.

Something doesn't seem legit with this…
Something doesn't seem legit with this company. I'm sure it is but their sales team gives you a weird feeling and hard selling which comes across off.

Game Production w/ Andy Johnson
Recently I went through a course in game production with industry veteran Andy Johnson offered through ELVTR and I'm stoked to share that I completed it and had a blast doing so! Thank you to Andy and ELVTR as well as my classmates for the experience, it was great getting some real practice in working as a game producer through the assignments. I only recently graduated from college but I can honestly say that among all the courses I took in the last 5 years, this has to be one of the most enjoyable and practical.
Excited to use what I learned in an actual role and to those looking to get into game development, I highly recommend this course!

PACKED WITH INFO, BUT DOABLE FOR WORKING PROFESSIONALS
I completed the digital analytics course with Kevin Hartman instructing. The class was very well put together with a series of slide presentations that built on the curriculum week after week.
The class also followed Kevin's book that went into much greater detail than we could ever have time for in class, plus two other recommended readings that focused on graphical presentations.
We had an opportunity to see an R script in a real world application in RStudio with a brief introduction to Tableau. Both of these apps and the R language will take more time outside of class to master, but the introduction was useful to see how these, among other data analysis tools, can be used.
The class sessions were a combination of casual interaction with Kevin, lecture, slide presentation, and group work.
Overall, the class was packed with info, but doable for a working professional juggling work, home and family. Kevin provided personalized and insightful feedback for all the assignments, which is greatly appreciated.
