Took Human Resources/People Analytics with Bill Yost, and it was a great introduction to this newer field from someone directly in industry. I was able to pick up on technical parts of HRA that I would not have gotten from regular courses. It's a good starter course to see if you are interested in HRA.

The Women in Leadership course taught by Lilah Jones is phenomenal, a definite "must have" for one's toolkit. Lilah's approach (authenticity, professionalism, energy and levity) makes for a meaningful, memorable learning experience. The guest speakers also show their vulnerability by giving personal anecdotes of how they have overcome obstacles while juggling high-powered careers and critical personal responsibilities. The breakout sessions and assignments are eye-opening, requiring introspection and creativity, as we seek to practice uplifting habits, conquer our fears and enhance our strengths. During Women's History Month, I attended a panel discussion of professional women. It was exhilarating to hear them offer tips and advice that mirrored what I had been taught by Lilah (i.e., how to amplify your voice in the workplace, the importance of getting a mentor, emotional intelligence). It truly reinforced the significance and practicality of the course material. I am even using these tools in both my professional and personal life. I highly recommend this course.
