I took the Become a Game Writer course with Adrian Ropp, and I was incredibly happy with the experience. Adrian really cares about his students, and he devoted extra time to make sure that each of us got something out of the course. Having a one-on-one session with him to ask questions really helped me put my finger on what I needed to do to make the leap from fiction writing to game writing, and I've already seen measurable results based on his advice. Highly recommended.

Amazing course by the Amazing team!! The professor passion was truly infectious!

The instructor was amazing. Rob delivered thouroufh and insightful lectures, as well as provided useful and relevant supplemental reading materials. The ELVTR representative in charge of my cohort, Sabina was just helpful and attentive. For anyone looking for a course on the theory of game design from a great personality like Rob, I'd recommend his.

I am so excited that my employer afforded me the opportunity to attend this Women in Leadership course. Lilah and her guest speakers are an inspiration. They opened my eyes to new possibilities. I met a vast array of successful entrepreneurs and business oriented female leaders with so much drive and ambition. I did not want the course to end as I realized I have some work to do. Thank you Lilah I am forever grateful.

The support staff for the program are helpful and responsive to your questions/requests. Brayan Reyes was my point of contact is they made sure to be responsive to my email requests and provide technical support when needed. The course itself was fast-paced. It was challenging to keep up with the classes while working full-time, but the class size was ideal for discussion and group exercises. Kevin Hartman is knowledgeable on this subject and his passion for sharing this knowledge was evident. Good slide decks and made office hours easy to access.

It was a pleasure taking my first course from Elvtr by taking Storytelling with Data by Mr. Kevin Hartman. Kevin is an amazing teacher and has taught me techniques to make my dashboards or presenting to different audiences more effectively. The methods he used to create a clear and concise framework approach was exciting and fun to learn about. Also Brayan, the Program Mamager was amazing and very helpful. As well as Ben the Associate Instructor gave me very good feedback when grading my work. It was a pleasure experience and will look into completing more classes with Elvtr.

I felt this was a great class that showed you the Foundation in game design. It introduces you to the theory of how a game is made, from the player type you want to engage, the type of fun you want the game to be, which types of mechanics to involve in the game. And you end it with a fleshed out Game Development Document and a Paper prototype, or a full 3d game if you have the skills to do so within the allocated time frame. I also enjoy the office hours before and after the class so that you can get answers on questions that weren't answered previously or clarification including real industry experience informed answer. If you have the disposable income, and are interested in Game Design but don't know where to start, this is a good place to start in my opinion.

Jyothi did a fantastic job designing & teaching this course. The course material was well organized and presented an excellent read from pre-course readings to daily lectures & presentations. The Demo sessions, working hours and Guest speaker sessions were all well planned and enlightening. It was a fantastic experience and a course I'd recommend!
