My experience with ELVTR’s Theatre Artistic Director course was excellent from beginning to end. The entire program was thoughtfully organized, allowing the instructor to focus on teaching rather than worrying about administrative or technical details. The Zoom sessions, presentation slides, breakout rooms, and Google Classroom materials were always prepared and ready to go. Our ELVTR Program Manager, Mariana Chanona, did an outstanding job managing every detail. Whenever a student had a question or technical issue, it was addressed within 24 hours—often much sooner. Her professionalism, responsiveness, and care made the entire experience run smoothly. The instructor was top-quality and brought an extraordinary level of professional experience, insight, and encouragement to the course. I came away with new knowledge, practical tools, greater confidence, and work that I am genuinely proud of. I would highly recommend ELVTR to anyone looking for a well-organized, professionally taught, and truly valuable learning experience.

I completed the 'Become a Book Editor' course with Francisco Vilhena. The course content was engaging and the structure and delivery, including regular assignments, enabled a positive degree of challenge and accelerated learning. I would definitely recommend this course to anyone who has the time to commit to it. Having access to the course resources for a further year after completion is a bonus and I feel well informed to pursue next steps.

Amazing, educational learning experience. Can’t wait for my next one with ELVTR.

Loved my recent course. Though it was a bit pricey, it was the only one of its kind so I am grateful.

Refused to tell me the price over the phone and was confrontational instead of patient. Very weird when they want me to buy something!

ELVTR and Guthrie Theater Artistic Director Tracy Brigden make a great pair — technology paired with the talent and insight of a true artist. Tracy lends her ear to the antics and the tough demands of the craft. Years of directing have shaped her into an articulate voice — one who tells it like it is, yet honors every story of heartbreak, showing us that it runs in our blood. Group interactions and thoughtfully designed class projects shaped this rich course, full of theater etiquette and bold ideas.

Extremely well organised and useful for better interaction at board level. Helps to get the leadership perspective on day to day work without being reminded. Thanks to Steven and the whole team. I strongly recommend this course for leadership aspirants.

I did the 'Become a Book Editor' course with elvtr. Everyone I communicated with at elvtr through; email, phone call or video call have been amazing. So thoughtful, respectful and you know that they enjoy their jobs. Our course Programme Manager Dezmae has been exceptional. She single-handedly answered many, many, many questions from a group of 90 applicants, always joyfully and quickly. The course itself was enjoyable. Our tutor Francisco was knowledgeable, the structure was easy to follow and the content was challenging but not too extreme. The environment he created in those sessions was relaxed, with plenty of opportunities to ask questions and join in group discussions. A really great tutor. To be able to pay in stages was a bonus, as not many companies allow that. Also trying a session at the beginning and if it wasn't for you, you were able to opt out and receive your money back. I've already recommended the course to my sister who's an English teacher.
