As someone who moves often, I was so excited to purchase this sofa. I opted for the Small L Sectional, which arrives in 3 boxes. When looking at the directions, they were slightly difficult to follow as the directions are pictures with a short sentence or two under the image. It would be helpful if the pieces were labeled and directions used the corresponding piece label. The instructions made for a frustrating afternoon, but I got it done - with no assistance. Once the sectional was together, I realized this product is overly hyped. Since it is a sectional, using 3 different units (dynamic sofa, corner, and seat extension), the connections are not as sturdy as one would like a piece of furniture to be. The arm rest connected to the seat extension is loose due to the honeycomb design protruding past the back lining. The corner unit sits awkwardly (wish I could upload a pic to better explain)- it looks as if I stuck a random ottoman in the corner to create the L shape. Back lining doesn't lay flush to the back honeycomb on the dynamic sofa, revealing the honeycomb material when viewed from the side. I even adjusted the velcro three times, still visible. Overall, I contemplated returning the sectional, but I'm just enough satisfied not to. Besides, one of the boxes was completely torn to shreds and open on both ends when it arrived (thanks UPS). While the connections leave much to be desired, the sectional itself is comfortable and functional for our home.

I genuinely wish I never bought this sofa. It is less than a year after I replaced my old sofa with it and the entire thing is destroyed. We installed it properly, have not even come close to exceeding the weight limit, weren’t jumping all over it or anything like that and it’s completely broken because, spoiler alert, no matter what technology they claim goes into this folded paper does not make a functioning sofa. Now I have to buy a new sofa after wasting 850 dollars on this crap (thank god I got it on sale). Unless you want a sofa for decorative purposes to just fill a space in a room, do not buy this!!!! Update: elephant in a box reached out to me and sent a new couch. They were super helpful and their customer service was outstanding. Will update again when I’ve used the new couch for a bit :)

You’re not paying for the product. You’re paying for the lifetime warranty/customer service and the idea. The product itself seems fragile and I’d imagine that the lifetime warranty will be called on more often than not. Whether the company will honor it is the question. I live alone and putting my sofa together was possible but not recommended. My instruction manual pages were stuck together. I wish the folding parts had metal hinges and not tape. I wish the untreated particle board panels were made of treated wood or plastic. The sofa itself looks like it cost less than $100 to make. That’s an insane markup. Want a cover? Their covers will ship from 3rd party manufacturer a month later or more after receiving the sofa. Their website looks questionable. Everything about this company looks like it was rushed to market without proper QA or much thought into it. Maybe they’ll be polished in a few years or maybe they won’t exist. I guess it depends on whether they’ll be bled to death from warranty claims or the product will hold up and that profit can be used to clean up their online presence and supply chain.

It took over a mount to actually get the full sectional. When I finally got all of it the corner piece was missing a latch so they sent me the pieces but they didn’t give me instructions of where to put it. The cushions are hard and not comfortable. I wouldn’t recommend it unless you are just looking for something that looks aesthetically pleasing.

I have the the dynamic sofa, ottoman and 2 large pods. The desk is perfect for my little office setup. The style of my room is exactly what I wanted. I've had a few hiccups with my product and customer service is amazing. One issue was receiving the wrong order. They fixed it very promptly. Second was the cushion covers were ripping at the seam. They replaced those. Now the things that didn't go as well as I'd like. The pods didn't last at all. They got warped within the 1st week. The idea of them are amazing but they lack protection on the top to prevent from getting dented. It's unfortunate because they weren't cheap. The other issue is lack of back support. We have other decorative pillows that we use to compensate. But wish we didn't have to. I do like my sofa. The looks is amazing and my whole family fits nicely on it.

I’m somewhat disappointed, as I was hoping this would offer better support. I would have preferred the back cushions to be more like the seat cushions. I find myself sitting at an awkward angle, which also makes my neck have to work harder to keep my view of the TV correct with my progressive glasses. The back cushions also get misshapen too easily, and I am frustrated at having to constantly reshape them. I could deal with the back being so low if it was at least supportive, but it isn’t, and my back aches regularly. I have serious buyer’s remorse. I think I’m past the 30 days, so I’ll have to find a way to improvise. If support isn’t an issue, you will likely find these to be to your liking, but I’m not happy.
