Update: I’ve changed my 4 star rating to 5 after the response and support I’ve received from elephant in a box. My concerns have been addressed and reassured. Excellent customer service team who stands behind their product. Original review: The concept and design of this couch is great. I love the portability and weight. The couch is actually very comfortable to sit and lay on. The only complaints I have is the folding rods that brace the couch. The metal they’re made from are very thin and I worry that they may break or bend over repeated dismantle and reassemble. One of the feet also came off during shipping. We glued it back on. I hope they sell replacement parts in case they get damaged or lost. I would recommend this couch to friends.

I really like the product, good investment! So easy to carry up 2 flights of crooked stairs into my new apartment (and my family didn’t disown me during this move - yay!). Assembly was easy with 2 people, could have managed with one but would have taken longer. The only thing I was a little surprised about was that the cushion had a “manufacturing” smell for about 2 weeks and the back cushions were a little flatter than I expected. The smell aired out and I added some throw pillows that are working great.

Very easy, instructions were inside one of the wrapped groups, so we couldn't find them right away,but we pulled up the video and found them shortly after.

This couch was extremely easy to assemble. We ordered this because we have a small door and getting a couch into our place was not going to be easy. I was pleasantly surprised as to how comfortable this couch turned out to be. I would certainly recommend this purchase especially if you have a small doorway or have multiple levels to have to carry your furniture. My daughter and I were able to manage carrying and assembly 🙂
