I loved this step through eleglide bike and for six months it worked perfectly. I bought a different saddle and even bought and fitted some sit up and beg handlebars AND sprayed it black so it would look less stealable. But then the trouble sarted. Cycling along the power would switch off and the screen go blank. By losening the battery and pushing back in, it started up again. But now, it wont even switch on. I think it needs a new screen and switch but these have been out of stock now for several weeks. Totally disappointed. It is just a lump of useless metal. The bike is clearly poorly manufactured and I will probably scrap it and get a better make.

Do not buy a bike from this company! The motor failed after 250km. I have spent the past 5 months trying to get it fixed under warranty. I was asked to arrange a suitable box to return it and they would take care of the rest. Eventually the bike was collected, some weeks passed and following numerous emails it was returned. Following the transportation, the box was in tatters but miraculously the bike was intact and not damaged. However once the bike was put back together it was evident that NO REPAIR was carried out. I have spent the past two months trying to resolve it and despite numerous promises it has not been collected. I am now in the process of reporting the company to the spanish authorities. DO NOT BUY THIS PRODUCT Michael Chaplin

I bought 2 bikes for £1400 ; and one of the bikes broke , causing me to spend £27 on a new pedal assist sensor, + fitting £50 and at no time did eleglide intervene and ask if they could help , as obviously the bikes were less than 2 years old and still under warranty .
