Please read my review.
Please read my review for your own benefit as to how this company works. This company has the absolute WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE. I’ve purchased more than a few things from them. One item I canceled before it even shipped. I was charged a restocking fee, and they WOULD NOT refund it to my card. They gave me store credit. (But to use that credit on a future purchase, I first had to email them to get a code to apply to the new purchase.) THEN, when I made my next purchase on 9/2/24, and applied my store credit code they’d given me, I emailed them after a week and asked why my new order had not yet shipped. They blamed it on being busy for Labor Day. (9/2/24 was BEFORE Labor Day. ) When I finally received my new bracelet on 9/16/24, the small carton they use for shipping had been opened and re-taped back together. When I opened the package, the small jewelry box was in tact, but the bracelet inside was bent beyond repair. So clearly whoever packed it, knew it was damaged when they placed it into a pristine jewelry box. So.. the very same day I received it, I started the return process. I sent pics of the damaged shipping carton, the pristine jewelry box, the damaged bracelet, and a copy of the USPS return tracking receipt. They received it 4 days later… only to ignore the email. After emailing them again a week later , I finally received a response on 9/23/24 sending me an invoice for another shipping fee, plus now they added a $5.00 charge for gift box… which I never requested. So now, today is 9/24/24, and I’ve sent them a response giving them a credit card number for the invoice on new shipping charges, and asked for a return receipt and tracking number. Based on this whole experience, I doubt I’ll receive the info I requested. Plus the invoice they sent said “priority mail” which means I should receive this no later than 9/28/24. (Fingers crossed) If I hadn’t had to use that store credit, I would’ve canceled the whole thing, requested a refund, and would still have to pay a restocking fee. Which basically would’ve gotten me a refund of about $12.00 on a $50.00 bracelet. BUT AGAIN, NO REFUND WOULD BE ISSUED… ONLY STORE CREDIT. They get you coming and going. So here’s my input on making a purchase from Elegatto. If you have a ton of patience for an experience like I’ve had, then go for it. They do have very beautiful jewelry. BUT BUYER BEWARE.
