My highest praise goes to Eldercare Resource Planning for working with me and my siblings to secure Medicaid for our older brother, who now rests comfortably in a skilled nursing facility. We are resting comfortably as well, knowing that the financial burden of his out-of-home care has been lifted from our shoulders. ECRP’s professional, caring team approach secured Medicaid for our brother in what we learned might have been a company record – three weeks from submission of the Medicaid application to approval. ECRP team members were always available to answer our questions – and there were many – and keep us informed of progress throughout the process. I’m reminded of a long-ago advertising campaign for the Greyhound bus company: “Take Greyhound and leave the driving to us.” To anyone facing what our family did, I say, “Work with ECRP and leave the driving to them.” They will get you safely to your family’s destination.

I would highly recommend Eldercare Resource Planning for anyone starting the process of applying for Medicaid for a family member. I absolutely could not have done it by myself. It is a horrifying, confusing, and very tricky application. And if you deal directly with the Medicaid case workers, and you say or do anything at all that's unacceptable during the qualification, your relative may be denied forever. Please do not attempt this on your own. It's worth the money a hundred times over. I worked with several people during my 14 month qualification period. They were all so helpful, but it was Jennifer who took me the last few miles and I cannot thank her enough. It's such a stressful process for the person applying for their loved one, but just imagine what inner strength it takes to have several cases going at once and all in different states with different rules and regulations. You need a specialist with these strengths to get a "YES" at the end of the line, so trust in Eldercare Resource Planning, as they will never let you down.
