No stars for their warranty service! Although I bought ego products from their authorised dealer Sydney Tools, it's been 7 weeks I haven't heard from them about my charger that was on warranty! By the time I called them 3 times. No satisfactory answers!!

NO STARS. I have 2 string trimmers, one runs through a whole spool of line in 3-5 minutes and the other has an auto line feed that doesn’t feed. After calling multi times with lots of on hold phone time I was finally directed by Dominique to drop them off at at local Ewing irrigation supply house. They would be repaired in “2 weeks”. By 3 weeks having heard nothing I spoke to Ewing who is still awaiting paperwork to from Ego to send them on to someone for repair. So, I calledEgo again Arsenio told me I should not have dropped them off there because they aren’t a “preferred dealer”. Even though they directed me there and can’t offer any other warranty drop off within 100 miles. After much complaining and haranguing on my part I got to talk with an escalation supervisor Phoenix who said she’d get the Dealer Support Team right on my case and someone would call me. Ten days later and it’s radio silence. After another prolonged on hold call I spoke to Kemi. Kemi can’t get hold of the Dealer Support Team just now or apparently access any case files or notes but she did offer my 5th case number for handy future reference and promise to email or call soon. I’m not a person who write reviews or reads them very often ( obviously a mistake here) but after I saw that about 90% of their reviews are less than stellar I decided to contribute. Next stop the Dept of Consumer Affairs and Attorney General’s office. Despite all the complaints about high taxes and big gov’t in California they are responsive to consumer abuse.

I would not buy an Ego again. If you are considering buying one, I would say, think again and probably don't buy. We have just bought a new Ego battery mower. The battery charger was faulty from the very first attempt to use it. Retailer exchanged it. Retailer insisted problems with Ego are very rare ..... The mower presently works fine. Does a good job. We cannot register for an extended warranty from 1 year to 3 years because the website doesn't work. We have tried many times. The company doesn't reply to emails or pick up the phone. Avoid.

Have all of their products, mower quit working. They don't have enough service centers is probably the biggest complaint, people cannot get their products fixed in a timely fashion, my mower has been in the shop which is an hour away for over two months now. Support just blames the service center.

Horrible battery life. 2 seasons and 2 of my 3 batteries are dead. Do not buy.

I had purchased a mower from Lowes a little over a year ago and the battery on the mower already is shot. When calling in they did not want to help me out originally since I did not have the receipt as I paid in cash and I did not keep the receipt. They made a one time exception to send me a new battery but informed me I was not able to use my 5 year warranty anymore due to me not having my receipt. What is the use of a serial number and model number if you cannot look it up internally to find out when it was purchased, where and by whom. I asked to speak to a supervisor and they transferred me to another rep in customer service. They advised that the battery was on backorder and I may not receive it for a month or so! So how am I supposed to cut my grass for over a month? I advised since this was something that was an issue on their end to just replace the entire unit which they said could not be done... For how much I spent on this mower they should be bending over backward to make this right after a year it failed. I will not be using there products anymore and reporting them to the BBB. I tried to be as accommodating as possible even offering to send everything back to replace it and they refused. USE SOMEONE ELSE. This place doesn't have quality products and their policy/ customer service for this is useless.

Unfortunately, there is no Zero (0) star option to select, as it would be befitting of the quality of Warranty service this EGO Power Products offer. There is "NO SERVICE", they place a replacement warranty order for their defective parts, but when you will receive it is another story. I have had warranty order for over a year, before it was shipped after many calls to the customer service, and now it has been over a month of waiting on two other warranty cases and no one can tell me when they will ship the replacement parts. This company needs to be investigated for false advertising and incompetent warranty service.

Pretty much the same as other reviews… got the new 16 inch smart feed trimmer…. Used one time as I think the battery was already charged…won’t charge called customer service and advised it was a bad battery … none in stock but she would escalate my case…but no way to know when I would get another one…wouldn’t recommend EGO for sure … based on other reviews this looks like a long wait… going to dispute my credit card charge….
