Customer service at its lowest. Tried to get answers on my ego trimmer that needed a part told we do t sell parts. Told to go on line look for part from 3rd party. Talked to young lady who was going to help but we got disconnected and I had to wait for someone to call me back.Guido calls me back later and stated I know all the policy's and would not here what I was trying to say. Absolutely bad customer service. I asked him to get me a supervisor he said that would take 24 to 48 hours. That evening a person by the name of Abin called me stating he was a supervisor could or would not honor what another rep told me. Bottom line this company is as bad as it comes. Going forward Toro or Stihl battery power lawn equipment is the way to go.

Absolutely HORRIBLE customer service
Absolutely HORRIBLE customer service. My blower failed after about year and eventhough it is under warranty it is taking forever to get it repaired. The shop says it's the entire inside component that failed and EGO is sending to them and guess what.....it's on back order. I have spoken to EGO CS several times and no solutions have been offered. That's a shame because an electric blower works well for my situation... that is if it works. Guess I'll have to go back to a gas powered blower.
DON'T BUY AN EGO PRODUCT.... The shop thats repairing mine say his shop is full of EGO's waiting on parts.

Is this anyway to run a CUSTOMER SERVICE??
When I bought my self-propelled mower in 2020 I immediately registered it on their website and sent a photo of proof of purchase/receipt. Well last week the self-propel feature stopped working and I called customer service. He said the proof of purchase I sent when I registered almost 3 years ago is blurry and I would need to send it again. Really? Within ten minutes I sent a copy of my Visa bill showing the receipt using the email they sent to attach receipt to. Almost immediately I got another email saying my case was closed and not to respond to their unattended email. So I called back to customer service and left my number for callback. Guess what? They called me back but we immediately got disconnected. This is terrible. I feel like I am running an obstacle course here.

Ego Tools Buyer Beware
We have a trimmer, 2 leaf blowers, a mower and snow blower. Generally the tools themselves work well (snow blower is for light duty only). The problem is the batteries are horrible. The last anywhere from a few months to no more than 2 years. To make it worse their warranty process goes out of its way to avoid honoring the warranty.

EGO does not honor warranty after registration of product
I purchased an EGO string trimmer in September of 2021. The unit stopped working June of 2023. I contacted EGO Customer Service and was given the "OK for repair" paperwork via email. I took my string trimmer to Northern Tool in Pensacola and have been waiting 3 months for repair.
Northern Tool cannot get parts from EGO to fix the trimmer. Contacting EGO is a joke. One customer service representative tells you one thing while another tells a different story, Now, they want a receipt from 1 1/2 years ago to do anything about the faulty trimmer. I registered the product and uploaded all receipts. They claim not to have the paperwork, but yet sent me repair paperwork that stated that the trimmer should be repaired under warranty. Asked for a supervisor to contact me 2 days ago. No reply. Check BBB rating on customer service. They are graded at "F." Buy another brand. EGO is a Chinese company under the name of Chevron who sells faulty equipment,

Stqy Away From EGO!!
As a sales representative with Lowes and a customer of Ego (unfortunately), I am disappointed to report my utter dissatisfaction with the company. I own 4 Ego power tools. While they are excellent tools in terms of ease of use and overall maintenance. They are completely unreliable. Of the 4 tools i Own 2 of the tools have broken. I have only owned the tools for less than two years and use them in a casual residential setting. Egos' 5-year warranty claim on its tools is a scam. The way they advertise it makes it seem like everything on the tool is covered while in fact it only covers the minimalist amount of damage. In addition to my 4 tools, two of them have batteries that died in less than a year, which they claim is not a manufacturer defect. So they won't honor their own warranty. From a Sqles perspective, I notice a lot of their products are returned for reliability issues. I shall not be recommending Ego to any of my customers in the future. I feel that Ego does not deliver on its products at such an expensive price point. I shall be pushing other industry Alternatives such as Dewalt. My experience has left a sour taste when it comes to Ego.

You won’t get a replacement
I have had to contact them twice about a failed battery, I purchased a 650.00 mower and only used it 3 times! I waited for approximately 30 minutes each time before giving up and using the callback feature, while someone did call back within a half hour both times, the representatives were useless. I had all of the warranty information, serial numbers etc. etc. and the product with me. I tried to troubleshoot it over the phone, they had me reset the battery and put it back on the charger, still only charged to about 75% when the charger stopped. I was then told to drain the battery entirely the next time I mowed my lawn, that wasn’t hard because this time the battery lasted maybe 20 minutes. I then put it on the charger only to have the same result. The second time I was asked a ridiculous amount of questions (such as did you reset, even though they could see the case number). They wanted to know the mower height, how long my grass was before cutting, when did the mower stop, did I try charging after mowing, how do I store it, how long did it take to charge etc etc. This went on forever. I only own battery powered tools and they all work, I know how to store them and use them properly. Thank god I have one gas powered tool left, a backup gas lawnmower because they seem to have psychic powers that indicate there is nothing wrong with my battery. They supposedly submitted a request for replacement but it needs to be approved by management? Rep was about to hang up and I said do I get some sort of confirmation about this? Said I would receive an email if my request was granted and then a callback if it wasn’t. It’s been days, still waiting for that email or call. Only have another email with another case number. They just want you to get frustrated and give up. This is not acceptable for a product with such a high price point. I’m done with Ego, love my old gas powered hundred dollar push mower, though.
