Awful AWFUL customer service and worst warranty.
My husband got his tools from the kids (Xmas, birthdays...). One big battery never worked properly (intermittent charging) - because he didn't have a receipt (gifts...) they replaced the battery and cancelled all of the warranties on all his other tools. Our lawnmower is falling apart - guess what, NO WARRANTY. Can't get parts in Canada and we've been waiting (for I'm sure will be the wrong parts) since July 2023 - Nov is in 2 days and we got an email that we may see it by end of the year.
They have an excellent product but everything else SUCKS. Someone please make a comparable product with good customer service and I will promote your product to everyone I know and beyond.

Blower stopped working
Blower stopped working. Battery will not hold a charge. Ego customer service said to take it back to Lowe’s and someone would pick it up. It’s been sitting at Lowe’s for six weeks. Ego customer service won’t return calls.

Not well made products, won't honor warranties.
I've gone through 5 EGO LB650 blowers in the past year for my gardening business, due to malfunctioning products. However, due to a policy of only honoring their factory warranty of purchased through one of Chevron's co-conspirator companies, I've only gotten remittance through the extended allstate plans that I've now come to add to all EGO purchases. The last one to die didn't even make it 2 months, so I've now switched to Ryobi.

Warranty process is a joke
Blower stopped working in the middle of cleaning my gutters. Warranty process was that I needed my receipt. I found that thanks to Amazon. Then then had me talk to a rep to "troubleshoot" and verify that it was broken. That complete, they requred me to print out papers and take them to a certified Dealer over an hours drive each way. Dealer attached a new battery and verified it was broken and said they don't fix, they just certify its broken and submit paperwork to EGO. After 6 weeks I called them and they claimed to have not recieved anything. Then I started with Ego. They tell me each time I call and wait the 50 minutes it takes on hold to get to a person, that they will send a now blower to my house so I don't have to drive but week after week I get nothing. Finally they sent a battery to the Dealer. What? My battery works fine. Maybe the dealer has caused some of this but the real question is why a dealer that I did not buy the product from has been put in the middle. Ego, you should step up and honor the Warranty. Just now I got a call from a supposed supervisor who said for the third thime that my case would be escalated but now they needed to contact the dealer to change the delivery address. That should have been done the first time they told me they would send to me directly. Basically avoid this company for service. Product was fine while it lasted but...

Warranty misinformation
I bought a $362.00 battery on Amazon that failed less than a year old and they will not honor the warranty. I sent them the statement from Amazon, the serial number off the battery and they will not budge. Do not buy jack sh_t from these thieves. It's plastic garbage. You can get a darn good lawnmower for less than the cost of this GD battery.

Batteries are trash
Spent lots of money on a battery ridding mower. After 1 year of light use 5 of the 6 batteries will not hold a charge. That's a lot of money lost on a mower and batteries that are worthless

EGO PS1000 Pole Saw Review
EGO PS1000 Pole Saw Review
My first cut, a 1 inch branch, the chain came off. Put chain back on and adjusted the tension. On the sixth and last cut the chain came off again. Put back on and stored away the saw. Three months later storm damage clean up. First cut, 2 ½ inch branch, the chain came off. As I was putting it back on I noticed a crack in the plastic housing above and below the drive sprocket. I then noticed the chain bar could move slightly from left to right. That is why the chain comes off. I called EGO warranty and spoke to the representative (Syed) and sent pictures of the cracks. The Rep said it looked like a warranty item since the saw was new and to take it to Jacks Small Engine repair where they will either replace the plastic housing or replace the entire saw section if they did not have the housing.
Jacks diagnosis was the saw was “damaged by the customer, had a chain bar bent at an angle (which it was not) and not functional (which it was functional and used by Jacks to cut a piece of wood to test it because there was wood chips in the sprocket area) and therefore not warranted”. I called Jacks Small Engine who said their job is to inspect and advise. I told them I already had authorization to repair or replace. Jacks said they needed to call EGO. They did and EGO said it was now not warranty based on Jacks inspection. I then called EGO again to express my displeasure of okaying the repair then denying the repair based on Jacks assessment not knowing how new and what little use the saw had. The EGO service rep after checking with a supervisor said they sided with Jacks diagnosis and not warranted.
Unsatisfied, I wrote to Chevron, EGO corporate office. Explained my case and asked for someone at EGO to take ownership of this warranty claim and let me know. To date (8 weeks ago), I have heard nothing.
I went to another EGO parts distributor to order a replacement housing that was cracked and I would repair it myself. They found out EGO no longer makes that part and only replace the entire assembly.
As I went on line to post this review, I found a guy who was parting out his PS1000 because his motor burned up and EGO would not warrant it. As I was replacing the housing, I noticed the cracks are where the screws are that join the two halves together… a weak point. Works perfect now NO THANKS TO EGO.
If you plan on buying EGO, be aware that if you do not abuse, lightly use and notice a defect in your tool, EGO will not warrant it based on a 3rd party evaluation (a poor evaluation), not your facts or poor quality design.
As my EGO tools die, I’m going with another vendor.
