DO NOT buy this mower... if you do, I hope you don't have any issues. Please be sure to do your research on their customer support and honoring their warranty. My mower was under warranty and has been at the shop for over 2 months. Customer Support is useless... they have absolutely no power but to log your calls in the ticket. I had 1 supervisor call me back 1 time and I couldn't even understand the message he left with the phone number to call him back... I called customer support to get his number and they have nothing logged. TERRIBLE support... you have been warned.

Would give zero stars if possible. The customer service for these products is a complete joke. Had to return the first trimmer when the auto wind feature on my trimmer failed, making the trimmer absolutely useless. When the same problem happened again within a matter of months reached out to obtain a refund. Customer service would not even consider refunding my money to purchase another Ego trimmer with manual winding capabilities. Stay clear of their products

Purchased my second Ego 2.5 battery and it arrived April 30, 2024. Registered with Ego and charged it up. Used today May 7, 2024 and battery good for 15 minutes. Waited in Ego customer Service queue for 40 mintures to no avail. No human came on line.....Will try again in early morning. Not a good impression of Ego for this consumer.

Purchased numerous hand held tools and went with mower last year. Used less than a season and it stopped working and has been in repair shop since. Called EGO and was told no order for total replacement existed in system but I had to call repair shop to create order even though EGO said it needed replaced. Their warranty service stinks and has cost them thousands just with the people I know but they don't care. My own son just bought a Greenworks Z and others we know are buying Stihl equipment.

I have tried to call customer support 3x and have used the call back option, all times they were extremely unhelpful. They call back randomly the next day and are not educated with information. Please see below. 1. The first interaction I didn't have my receipt and wad told I was out of luck. I said I would get my receipt and they said okay we will call back tomorrow, they didn't and "closed my support case" 2. The second interaction I went back to Lowe's to get receipt, but you can't add receipt to your already uploaded mower in the system, you have to start from scratch. So when the representative was talking to me, he was looking at the one with no receipt rathe than the new one with a receipt. I had waited over 24 hours to get a call back and because it was a work day had a meeting, he said he was going to find the receipt one and then call back with warranty information. Never received. 3. We are now week 3 into this saga and I am called again to put my name on the list.

Spent 3 days attempting to talk to customer service. Days after leaving messages to call back they finally call back and they hung up on me before I could even speak to them. My battery is bad out of the box. Horrendous customer service. Horrendous product

Tried to get in to their customer service for days. Tried the call back. Never called back! My take on my experience is, EGO has had so many people calling in with problems on their products they can't handle it or they don't care. I'm inclined to believe the later.

Better have a lot of time on your hands if you want customer support. Battery was dead upon bringing it home. Went back to Ace Hardware where I bought it. Sorry sir you have to register your product before we can replace it. There online registration doesn’t work as expected. Still waiting for a call back, “without losing your place in line”
