The mower was delivered with non-working headlights. (Not a big deal, but annoying) The mower performed very well for about two years, and then the power drive failed. It took over a month to get the shop/EGO to determine the unit was not repairable. EGO promised a replacement and then changed their mind after a month of my calls and emails asking when the replacement mower would arrive. After threatening a BBB complaint and legal action, they changed their mind, and I received a replacement mower. No response or apology. Just got an email with a tracking number for the mower. That is the only reason they got two stars instead of one. I wish I had seen the reviews on this site before I spent $600+ on this mower. I hope the replacement lasts longer than two years.

EXTREMELY DIFFICULT to register/warranty my EGO products!! First off the EGO registration/warranty site DOES NOT WORK...tried the site for 2-days. Is anybody from the EGO company paying attention?! I had to contact an EGO rep to register my warranty by phone. The rep had a very difficult time with the warranty process procedure. I simply wanted to register/warranty my Power Head, Edger attachment and Trimmer. attachment. Come to find out even though I had already registered another EGO product (Blower) and received confirmation from EGO that it was registered...it had not been placed under warranty., which is a separate procedure. Without going into great detail, it was a ridiculously long process to complete. It literally took 1:10 minutes to complete the registration & warranty of my EGO products. The EGO rep was very friendly and professional. I would certainly be glad to work with him again. Registering and placing an EGO product under warranty was a nightmare time waster...Classic example of a huge company not monitoring it's own Website. FIX your online registration site. Make it clear the consumer must not only register their product, but complete a separate warranty registration as well. Change the leadership of your 'quality control Team'.

Decided to go electric for my outdoor tools,bought the back pack blower,used for approximately 3 weeks,STOPPED WORKING?,did all the online stuff and found a local ECO repair tech. 10 days later they decided to send a new blower.Thats fine. Then I bought a self proppelled lawn mower,this is my second year with it. For some reason now...ALL the lights stay on,battery light,headlight, indicator light??? Only way to turn them all off is to take out battery. Now trying to get it serviced and fixed,brutal,$1600.00 in 2 items and have had nothing but trouble.SO FRUSTRATED

Customer service is horrible, The fellow, I was speaking to barely spoken English and was wanting to argue with me. I have two blowers the first one I had quit working four times. I would have to take photos and then it would take a week or two before I received the product. I just recently purchased 765 CFM blower. It quit working in three months. Now I have to take the blower the charger and the battery to Lowe’s to be shipped Out to Egos Service technician. So I’ll probably be left without a blower for a month. What an inconvenience don’t waste your money don’t buy ego.

Products work well and battery power is convenient but BEWARE the tool guarantee is 5 years but the battery is only 3. This difference is very hard to find on the website. I had a battery fail after 4 years of light domestic use in my lawnmower. No help with replacement and over £120 for a new one. Previous petrol lawn mower lasted three times longer for a third the price.

I own a mower, line trimmer, blower, hand held hedge trimmer, and the pole trimmer. Nice tools but in Az even storing the batteries in side they over heat very quickly. Doesn’t seem to matter if it’s the 5ah or the 2.5ah batteries. Into it to deep to turn back. Buyer beware of short term operations in warm weather climates.

...and have already a ripped shoulder pad loop. Quality control is not going in the right direction with EGO. ONE star. I had to contact the manufacturer (EGO) directly in order to receive a replacement strap. In order to obtain this $17 part I had to jump through hoops. I had to open 4 different case numbers, stayed on the phone for hours, each time was given different stories and finally at the end I was promised to receive the part but I had to wait 15 business days (read 3 weeks) before it would be send out. Products may be good but after sales in quasi non-existent.

Customer service is a joke, wait forever to talk to someone or get called back, filed a warranty claim on a dead battery and have heard nothing. Claim 02070530 How can this company survive if they keep losing customers
