The trimmer only worked well a 3 to 4 hours of use. After that it acted as if it was shorting out, it would work a bit and stop working. I registered the product as soon as I got it home but when I called to arrange a repair I was told I would have to send a photo copy of the receipt to them. The receipt had been mislaid and after some conversation the rep agreed to me a one time a one time ''favor''. I've never been treated this way before. After waiting for the tool for 7 weeks I finally got it back, it worker around an hour before the same problem happened again, now it doesn't work at all and Ego won't repair it. I think they sell garbage products so they look to get out of standing behind them I can't say strong enough what a trash product and trash company this is. NEVER buy anything from them.

Please don't waste your money. The battery warranty is 3 years, and it will surely degrade and become useless around that time frame. You spend $1,000 plus dollars for a product that will last 3 years, and a replacement battery will cost you $450. They don't stand behind their product and will not provide any support or resolution for you. You're better off buying a $600 gas lawn mower, which works better and will last 15-20 years. This is just my perspective.

After owning the battery for only 6 months and on my 6th mow, the battery only lasts 30 minutes in my lawn mower. This was a far cry from the 55 minutes they say it should last. They do not honor their warranty and thus have complaints into both the BBB and NYS Attorney Generals office. Buyer beware

Brand new mower, either battery or battery charger is broken. I’ve been waiting for customer service for over 1.5 hrs. I’m going to return this now. You would think a company with so many positive reviews online would properly staff their call center. UPDATE - After 1.5 hrs on hold I spoke to someone who recommended the fastest way to resolve the issue was to return the mower to the store (which I did). The next mower worked fine. It was just a bad battery. Product seems good but Ego doesn't seem to invest in customer service.

purchased 5 tools and a mower over the last 3 years. have had to go through ego for 3 batteries and a charger... when I told ego that my mower had bling lites that wouldn't go off, and would intermitely quit, ego told me for warranty use national tool near me... i called national tool , told them the problem and he said "its a $160 up front diagnosis fee and would be at least 6 weeks b4 they would look at it" warranty? Now I know for sure that will never buy or let any of my neighbors buy anything ego...

Horrible Customer service!!! took me seven days to finally get through to them, stayed on hold 1.5 hours one time then finally hung up. Battery on leaf blower only last now for 10 minutes then it dies.Only four cells charge, one remains red after a full charge. When I finally got through to CS they walked me through trouble shooting the battery and charger which was a joke. They then said to email them a purchase slip and they would review it. Don't have the receipt as it was purchased over a year ago.They have a three year warranty.I will never purchase from them again!

I had a very bad experience with the Ego Lawn mower, I bought it this July 2023, First couple of cuts worked well. This season Lawn mower did not work. When I open a support case they send me Lowes for repair. The Day I picked up from Lowes, Lowes people asked me about Labor costs. I called multiple times to EGO support team they said your case had been escalated manager would connect you to clear this issue. But no one called me and despite the fact I called several times the Support person said you have to pay labor costs. When my product is under warranty why I have to pay? Pathetic EGO Company and support team.
