Battery has failed after less than 30 uses. My fault for not keeping my receipt, but this should not happen. Absolute junk. Stay away from this crap!! Customer service comes from India, enough said. EGO rep, if you're reading this and the other multiple unsatisfied customers' reviews, I hope you're paying attention. Horrible business model. I plan to let all my neighbors and relatives know to stay away from this junk.

I have 3 ego products. Mower,string trimmer, and blower. All 3 batteries have basically failed. The two 5 amp batteries indicate full charge on both all chargers and the battery itself. However one doesn't even power up at all, the other quits in about 5 minutes. The are used on a trimmer and blower. The 7.5 battery when new could cut both front and back yards. Now will quit after the front. Loews can't find the service contract. I have bought a lot of all products and other things. They can't find anything. My fault for losing the bill of sale. That said, after 3 years, all need replacement. Cost is almost as expensive as buying new units. Forget about all this green BS they are pushing on you. Buy the old reliable gas lawn products. Your bank account will thank you.

Blower, intermittent problem starts runs for a few minutes stopscwont restart. Remove battery. Replace same battery starts runs a few minutes then stops. Will do this maybe 6 times then fails completely. Will do this daily. Sent for repair by ego Cairns to Gold Coast repaired. Same problem again. Service centre in Paget says nothing wrong. Over 8 weeks and counting under warranty repair. Now have returned blower. Batteries (2) and 1 charger lost. Never returned with blower. Buyer beware DO NOT BUY - EGO (NO GO) TOOLS

Between a brand new mower that cuts terribly (yes, we’ve tried every trick available and suggested by Ego themselves) and the most ridiculous experience with Ego customer service, over and over again (going on day four of an absolute promise today is the day a supervisor will call), I would NOT buy Ego for any reason. And will be getting rid of their three products we currently own. Man, I wish I had come here before purchasing. It would have saved a lot of money and stress.

Ego mower stopped working after one year. Battery is fully charged. Mower stopped working and will not start. Unable to reach customer service at Ego. Ego is not answering the phone.

Purchasing our zero turn 42in deck mower was a truly fun and exciting departure from the typical gas powered equipment. It was a good experience up to the point our mower needed some repairs. We were referred to the ONLY business in our area servicing Ego mowers. Our mower has been in need of repair since April 2024 and remains in the shop!! The needed parts are always and forever on "backorder". We needed new blades as part of the repair. I finally bought them myself at a local retail and delivered them to the repair shop. We are still waiting on our mower as the newly identified needed part is on "back order". It is now July 2024 with no confidence we will be using our mower this season. I cannot recommend you purchase an Ego mower as the warranty/repair process is TERRIBLE.

I bought my Ego lawn mower in April 2022 and began experiencing issues with a sensor in the handle which made the mower unusable. I contacted Ego for warranty service in December 2023 and my experience with them has been absolutely ridiculous. I was sent to Lowes in Allen, TX 2 times to drop my mower for service, and each time I went over a month with no calls or updates just for it to be returned stating “mower powers on” which was not the stated warranty concern. In May I was sent to another repair facility (Ace) where my mower has sat without parts to repair. Ego will not return my calls for assistance or a supervisor until his week when I was told they were having a part supplier issue. They will not replace the mower which doesn’t work, nor will they provide an ETA on part availability. They also will not reimburse me the hundreds of dollars I have had to spend for a company to service my yard as they do nothing for the mower. I have had to do all the legwork just to get an update which is pretty terrible from a service perspective. Especially for a mower barely over a year old. Avoid this brand at all cost.

Very poor customer service. Extremely difficult to communicate with. A woman named ‘Karen ‘ laughed at my problem. Hedge trimmer only used 3X and the motor burnt up. I have spoke to 2 different representatives and have gotten absolutely no where. I will never buy or recommend EGO to anyone and unfortunately I have a lot of EGO tools. Batteries only last about a year and a half tops.
