EGO may not be perfect but my mower has worked fine for 3 1/2 years-then battery died. Ego authorised local dealer to replace on the spot even though a month or three out of warranty. I think that EGO should sell the big mowers with 2 X 4amp batteries rather than one 7.5. Self propelled on a big lawn will drain a 7.5 in 45 minutes, then near an hour to recharge. Two 4 amps in rotation much better, and lighter too if your lawn slopes. I have just bought an 18” Chainsaw as well, incredibly effective for a cordless chainsaw, but don’t believe the 2.5amp battery produces over 100 cuts, not unless you are cutting cocktail sticks ! Traded the 2.5 back in for a 4 amp, which is also handy in my mower for steep lawn slopes. Do most critical service posts on here hail from US ? Is the UK Distributor/Dealer network much better ?

Great Mower at first with the 6.0 Ah Battery now discontinued i believe. battery failed after just over 3 years use out of warranty , a new one costs £200 i paid almost £600 for this mower now i have to buy a new battery costing £200 making a total of £ 800 i could have bought 4 petrol/gas mowers for the price of this not happy at all sorry ive taken the battery and charger to my suppliers who said they will do there best to resolve my problem .i await the results ,when i bought this machine i expected at least 9 or 10 years use from it like all my other cordless tools, end note EGO have graciously replaced my Battery thanks ,see how long this one lasts
