I think you are trying to hard to make the best product for lawn care. No problem with that. The problem I have is I was all in, blowers, lawn mowers and trimmers. Batteries a big problem and expensive. Products are expensive as well. The self load trimmer I bought lasted less than three years. In other words, the problems with your products do not justify the cost of the product.

Terrible customer service
These guys are okay when selling you items with fast delivery and easy to use website. However it's when you reach out for the much needed customer service they fail big time.
I am waiting for a refund it's been over two weeks, and no where on their website do they mention a £25 handling charge if you return an item.

This is my 2nd mower so you know I like…
This is my 2nd mower so you know I like the product. My older mower did not have the 2 blade system, that is an improvement. 2 years now and battery is not holding a charge. To engage the self propulsion you squeeze the button in the handle located on both sides left and right. As you are mowing for a bit you don't always know where your hands are and both hands may be on the drive button. You need to stop and let your hand off the drive button and the next thing you are in the flower bed because your other hand was also on the button. Grass catcher does not fit between the bars so it is tedious on and off every time you empty. 50 years in field of construction that requires fine motor skills. Will seriously look at other mfrs when this unit dies if these features are not changed.

Ego works but not worth the price
I jumped on Ego tools in 2018, spent close to $2k CAD and used them commercially. Had two mowers, Ego was enough for maintenance cut, but useless on overgrown properties where it would stall continuously. Ego 7.5Ah battery lasted 30-45min, while gas mower could go for 1.5hr per refuel. After first season I got rid of mower and kept only trimmer and blower. First set lasted 3yrs, now I am on second set of Ego trimmer/blower and went through 2 bump heads on each trimmer. Trimmer shaft consists of two halves held together by two screws and one of these screws constantly breaks, original Ego screw lasted a season, new replacement generic steel screw lasts a day or two. Made wooden bracket that releases most of the pressure off the screws and now that cursed screw lasts a month. Ego batteries have no indication, tool just shuts down in middle of work. Also frequently happens that when I pick up batteries from charger indicating full charge they in fact did not charge at all, and tool would shut down after few seconds. Frustrating. Now I have the process of leaving charged batteries to cool down for few minutes and reinserting them into charger second time in case they did not charge the first time. Also had a charger freeze on fully charged indicator several times, that would stay even if battery is removed and charger stopped working completely. Software bug. Only solution is to unplug, wait and plug back. Quality tools should not require any of this nonsense.
Ego positions itself as premium brand and charges premium price, but quality is similar to established non-premium tool brands like Ryobi, Sun Joe or Yardworks. I would rate established premium tool brands like Stihl, Dewalt or Makita higher than Ego. Also non-premium brands have cheaper batteries per kWh and all established brands have high selection of after-market batteries and spare parts, while Ego is closed world, nobody makes aftermarket nothing for Ego. There is no higher level of comfort, nor higher performance or productivity, nor less maintenance with Ego than non-premium brands, Ego tools don't last longer.
I would like to go full electric from next season including mower, but switch completely out of Ego. Good bye Ego.

Concerns regarding chargers
Bought an EGO mower 2 years ago as I downsized house and lot and thought it would be convenient to not have to fill a gas container. I was fully satisfied after one year of use so I purchased a blower as my 15 year old blower finally bit the dust. Last week my 2 year old battery charger along with my one year old battery charger stopped functioning the same day. I contacted customer service and the agent determined both items were under warranty and would be replaced. Yesterday I received one of the replacement chargers and it did not work right out of the box. I again contacted customer service and another new charger is being shipped. I am beginning to have concerns about this product.

Battery charger DOA
I purchased the Power+ 765 CFM Blower from Lowe's yesterday; this purchase was my first of EGO products. When I got home, I wanted to try it out on my back patio. Thankfully, the battery came with some charge, so I was able to test out how the tool works. I was very impressed by the power. Years ago, before I was in my profession, I have used professional gas-powered backpack blowers from Stihl and Echo (jobs while in high school and college) and as a homeowner, I previously had a plug-in electric blower. This ECO blower blows away everything I've used before and despite a relatively heavy battery, it was significantly lighter as a whole over those other blowers. I tried out hitting the "Turbo" button on the blower, which adds a boost of extra blowing power to the normal high-power mode but after about 10-15 seconds, it stopped and the battery blinked red. After it was stopped a few seconds, it then showed the battery at half-charge. I'm guessing that it drew more current than the battery could give at that state-of-charge. It continued to work many more minutes at the normal high setting without the "Turbo" button being used.
Now for the negative. As I picked up the included battery charger, my thought was that there was absolutely nothing inside; it is extremely light in weight; less weight than expected even as a completely empty plastic box its size. I believe the power cord weighs more than the box it is connected to does. That, in and of itself is not a negative but when I plugged it in, absolutely nothing happened. Neither LED light lit. I then put the battery on the charger and still no activity from either LED. From my interpretation, I think the green light should be blinking when the battery is charging but as mentioned, I've not seen either of the lights on the charger light up. Just to give it the benefit of the doubt, I left the battery connected to the charger overnight and into today. The charge indicator on the battery itself is still showing that the battery is just under half-full. Apparently, the charger arrived "Dead on Arrival". I am told that I should return it for an exchange at Lowe's, which I plan on doing, but I won't have an opportunity for several days. Curiosity makes me wonder if someone forgot to put any circuitry inside the charger but I'd void the warranty if I investigated.
Another odd note is I was asking about the price of another battery and was shocked to find out that the price of a second battery of equal capacity is exactly the same price as the tool WITH the included battery!!! Essentially, buy a battery, get a free tool.

Down the Crapper
After using Ego products for 6 years the original 2.5 battery is still doing work today. Can't complain.
The newer iterations of batteries with fuel gauge are terribly unreliable and customer service can't be lower.
It's a shame, they had a good run.
Want reliability, look elsewhere.

Bought their SNT2100 Snowblower in late…
2-7-22 update: funny when you continue to call in and email on a daily basis you eventually find someone who cares about the customer.
I received a call today and they ate going to allow to take this to the closer dealer repair shop now.
Bought their SNT2100 Snowblower in late 2018. Worked fine until this year. Constantly shut off. Over the phone they diagnosed a motor issue. Wanted me to bring it to Swarthmore PA ACE Repair as that was on their list of qualified warranty repair. The Swarthmore ACE Hardware said they cant take it because they were never properly trained. Found a location closer and willing to take it to repair it. They denied me bringing it to the location near me because it wasnt on their list even thought this location SELLS their equipment. EGO wants me to bring it to a location 2 hrs away from my house and i refuse that i should have go that far out of my distance since there is someone closer who sells their equpment. Their Supervisor was a jerk on the phone saying its my problem then since i wont go out of my way. Never ever by any product from EGO if you were smart.!!!!!!
