Trying to register a snowblower by going to the website. As a new user, I registered an account, or so I thought. When I went to register the product, the form said the serial number had to start with an E. But the serial number on the machine started with N. So I called customer service. The person said my account hadn't populated, even though I said I received a welcome email after starting the account. The rep said she could enter my account. I gave her all the information, having to spell out my entire email, which I think she misheard because I never got the promised email from her to upload my receipt. I have to call back tomorrow to do this all over because now the customer service center is closed. So I hope the machine works better than the registration process. Not off to a good start. I'm not a fan of all online stuff, but I'd heard good things about the product. We shall see.

I purchased a 765 Handheld Blower late 2024. I used it for normal yard work, and it worked great for almost a year. Then it stopped. Called customer service and was told to take it to the nearest service center 38 miles away. Dropped it off last week and was just told it'll be at least another week (or whenever they get the parts). I always thought you get what you pay for. I paid $300+ for this thing thinking it'll last, and I still find myself running my ECHO gas blower. What the HECK???

I own nine pieces of EGO equipment, six battery chargers and seven batteries. I started buying their stuff in October of 2022. In that package I got a battery dated October 2021 that WHICH SHOULD NOT HAVE BEEN A PROBLEM. In order to keep the three year warranty on batteries and the five year warranty on equipment all of your stuff has to be registered ALONG with a copy of the purchase receipt. Although EGO has taken care of some of my chain saw issues under warranty, they really put the screws to me in regards to two defective batteries. One of them they replaced but it cost me the warranty on my string trimmer beause they didnt have a copy of the recipt. I had not only sent that to them before that phone call, they got it twice more later on but still no reinstatement of the string trimmer's warranty. The older battery they ALSO got the receipt. During three long phone calls, a Friday, Monday and Tuesday (one guy and two women) I was told they had to look into it and after a long pause they stated they would have to call me back. THAT NEVER HAPPENED!!! I have since given up on the older battery and along with the one they replaced, I've taken both to the county dump for proper recycling. A warranty is no good if they dont honor it.

We purchased a combo mower with a battery and a promo at Lowe’s another battery came with the purchase in April. A few months later both batteries are not working, called customer service and they had me do some troubleshooting. One battery was supposed to ship a week and a half ago, never shipped then in the meantime the second battery stopped working. Now they’re shipping both batteries today as replacements. It’s hard to believe that both batteries with in three months have stopped working. Very odd.

I love the product, however the battery after only 3 years is failing. Ego is an expensive brand and I would expect better for my investment. Replacement batteries are crazy expensive adding to the expense of using their products. If I had it to do over again, I probably would not purchase based on the battery failure.

Your batteries have issues you give a 3 year warranty and on the thirty seventh month they have issues.Your batteries are more than the tool. So you basically will have a 300$ maintenance fee every 3 yrs I feel that's not a value

I am very disappointed in the life span of my Ego 56V 7.5AH battery which needs replacing after 4 years. My mowing season is 6 months in SW Texas, so that's 45 minutes x 24 weeks a year for 4 years which makes 72 hours actual performance on my Ego mower. Replacement cost for the battery is over $380. Warranty was 3 years , so I am spending 65% of the cost for an Ego mower to replace this battery. Needless to say my cost for a fossil fuel mower would have been the same as the Ego mower, but my fuel cost in 4 years would have probably reached less than $50 for72 hours running time. I would be interested in the statistics on efficiency and lifespan of rechargeable lithium batteries for power tools. Consumers must bear the burden of costs for renewable energy products. I cannot fault the resistamnce to get onboard with these green products.

Loved eGo, have a 10 year old blower that's a dream, a weed whacker that's great, and I off-branded with a greenworks mower until I could get an eGo. Fast forward a few years after the mower, and I get an eGo mower expecting similar quality and what a piece of turd. While the engineered features are nice, and I haven't (yet) had any trouble with the self propelling the battery which is a big 56v behemoth and probably costs well into the 200 range is dead/won't charge broken on the start of the second season, so really more than a year old, but less than 3 useful seasons of usage old and it's requiring a primary component change. I don't know that these manufacturers understand that the "battery" is as critical as the "fuel processing" components of a gas mower that runs for 5-15 years without any need of changing. I used to love eGo, but after this mower and battery experience I'm going to stop buying their products in lieu of greenworks or another electric brand, or possibly a gas mower.
