IT'S A SCAM. Do not sign up, DO NOT GIVE THEM YOUR FINANCIAL INFORMATION. They will keep on charging you with NO warning and NO RECEIPT. You will only know if your credit card company sends you alerts. They will NOT REFUND your money and will gaslight you into believing that you did not cancel, which you will have no proof of because, as mentioned, THEY DO NOT SEND RECEIPTS. It is a bogus app that is not user friendly in the least. I don't know how they got away with claiming it is for those with ADHD.

If I could give zero stars I would. Daughter downloaded on an impulse and I contacted immediately and they have refused to refund. They are just money grabbing horrible people who are preying on people with ADHD. I understand it is a dreadful app too which does not help those with ADHD but just adds more of an admin burden.

I regret giving effecto a 3-star review. I was charged twice for the first three months, once when signing up and once when the "free trial" was over. I wrote to them and they wrote back that they can't locate an account with my email address, which is a lie. After that I responded detailing how I was charged twice and showing them that my email was in fact linked to my effecto account. I really hope they will refund me at least for double charge. I also agree with some other reviews that are wondering how a person with adhd can possibly be expected to track all these factors with no real reward apart from statistics that can only become somewhat relevant after 3 months of diligent tracking.

Has anyone had success canceling. They refuse to answer my email request. I’ve gone on their website and messaged them that way. Nothing, can we report them to someone? Feeling so frustrated

Please refund 36. 99 to my account and cancel any agreement I have with your company this is highly unethical considering how people with ADHD like shiny apps ans are not good with admin die to exec fuction and memory for dates etc I am disgusted to have this money taken from my accou t when this product is making money from disabled people pt should be made accessible with warnings ams reminders and an easy way out please refund or else I bore your company as highly unethical and discriminating against people with disabilities, the very people it makes it money from.

I signed up for this app in March of 2023 to help manage my ADHD. It was not user friendly at all. In April of 2023, I cancelled my subscription knowing that I lost the $59.99 that I paid for the year but that I would not continue to pay for a subscription that I did not use. In March of 2024, I was charged $59.99 for an annual subscription. I immediately reached out to the company and was told that I would not be charge going forward but that per their policy, they could not refund my $59.99. What???? I used the app for less than a month, 11 months prior. I have read other reviews and this seems to be standard practice for this company.

I found this app to not be useful so I cancelled my subscription with effecto through email! The staff assured me my subscription was “successfully” cancelled and that I would no longer be charged however I recently noticed money missing from my bank account and found that they have been taking money every 3 months anyways! I was extremely frustrated as I had no idea and had no reason to believe I was going to be charged by this company ever again. Never go near this app! I hope to get refunded after this whole mess.

Looking for diagnosis and medical treatment but it’s not that at all. Haven’t been able to get a response from anybody about a refund. I will update this review later if they give me my money back.
