Trying to claim a refund as I cancelled subscription within hours yet I have been charged money I don’t have spare. Scam , originally set up one free trial then my bank luckily refused a £79.99 fee saying suspicious. Since that they have taken two payments. I now have a email back saying I need to prove I cancelled subscription. I’ve now today managed to cancel again.

I signed up for the 3 month trial for $39.99. The company charged me $39.99 AND $99.99. I did not receive any prompt that would have led me to the $99.99 charge. This company is targeting people with ADHD and autism so that they can rip them off.

Total bogus crap. The marketing is tricky and you end up with charges you didn’t agree to. They refuse to refund. DO NOT TRUST OR PURCHASE ANYTHING FROM THIS COMPANY.

This app is totally scam. I did a quiz and put a one time payment and canceled it before the week ended and I never downloaded the app and some how I ended up getting charged my credit card 3 times without my permission. Now I am disputing the charges with pay pal.

I have no idea how this fraudulent company managed to access my bank account details, but over almost a year they stole money from my account. I was ill and unable to check my account and did not immediately notice what was happening. When I realised what was happening I reported Effecto to my bank Lloyds who investigated and found the transactions to be fraudulent. They refunded my money and put a block on this fraudulent company. My advice to others defrauded in this way is to report Effecto to your bank and put a stop to their fraud immediately. They deliberately take fairly small amounts hoping you won't notice, but small amounts build up over time!

This company is a fraud! There is no way to deal with this company that will give you a favorable outcome. You will ALWAYS be DENIED a refund, no matter what. And don't waste your time asking for a cancellation because you WILL be charged in a few months for something else you supposedly requested but actually didn't! If any one commenting on this page had a favorable outcome getting their money back, I'd like to hear about it. The charges are pushed through so quickly that there is no opportunity to get a refund. They did an upsell on my credit card without permission, so there's another negative mark. (They claim I DID indeed authorize it, but I did NOT) There is nothing clearly stated in regular size print to warn you of the scam coming your way! This is one of those companies that checks all the boxes for you and unless you find them and uncheck them, you will be charged for garbage you did not order. And that is how they get away with saying that YOU ordered something that you did NOT. They will come on here trying to defend their fraudulent ways by telling you to contact them. Don't waste your time. Since this company is based out of Lithuania, report them to econsumer.gov (for international consumer fraud claims) and also to the internet cyber crime unit of the (FBI Internet Crime Complaint Center or IC3). They need to be investigated for what they do to unsuspecting consumers! Too bad there isn't a way to give zero stars. I've already contacted your customer service team and was denied the refund so there's nothing more to discuss which is why I've reported your company.

Downloaded the app and an add on popped up which I couldn’t delete and charged me £79.99!!! Wouldn’t give me a refund and cancel subscription even though you should receive a 14 day cooling off period. Weird thing was I was looking at an exercise app and somehow this popped up and took my money! Poor customer service. Avoid at all costs! Customer service appalling and asked for me to contact them, won’t do anything to refund subscription - just told me that it clarifies lifetime subscriptions are not refundable. It does not say that, so misleading and company a scam and unhelpful!

Seems to want to help people with TD(H)D to organize their lives, but it's SCAM: It does'nt work properly on Iphone 12, 8 important monitoring buttons are not functioning (out of tuch-screen, not reacting), but you dont get any money back. The Testperiod ends, and without any warning the fee explodes from 19,90 € to 49,90 € !!! Customer-Service is not any service but a firewall just repeating "You subscribed, you have to pay" all the day. IT's unbelievable they STILL go on frauding people, I should have read Truspilot and other reviews before. Normally I do not write reviews, but THIS is TOO disgusting.
