If you’re struggling with ADHD symptoms, including: difficulty with: completing repetitive, mundane tasks; motivation; and prioritizing goals…DO NOT INVEST IN EFFECTO!!!while the advertisement promises an individualized plan based on the “input” you give them, all you will receive is some basic “self-help” videos. Worse than this, though, is a DAILY CHECKLIST OF MUNDANE FACTS ABOUT YOUR DAY (e.g. hours slept, mood, foods eaten, etc.) which you are supposed to fill out on a daily basis in order to determine how these patterns affect your productivity. DUH!! This task itself is overwhelming for someone with ADHD, let alone analyzing it to come up with your OWN plan. I repeat, no individualized plan is provided for you, as advertised. I wound up contracting with a psychologist specializing in helping people be more effective with activities of daily living in an individualized manner that is really helping me. Thankfully, I “cancelled” my 3 month subscription the day after I joined, so I will hopefully not face the unwanted refilling that other users are dealing with. Effecto is a sham playing on the vulnerabilities of those of us desperate for help in organizing our lives.

I accidentally opted in for the lifetime subscription even though I hit 'back after pressing it during the 900 upsells presented in the buyer journey. I thought I was safe as there was no further checkout beyond the initial purchase but it was automatically added to my card. I didn't even activate it and asked for my money back but they said the terms and conditions were clear. I don't think you even see them in the purchase journey. Avoid. Follow up - they said to email them in response to my review and then ignored me as expected. It was just for show. Don't be fooled folks...

Scam operation with multiple apps designed to scam you with random monthly payments. Don't fall for it please. Edit: I urge everyone to contract PayPal to make PayPal cancel the PayPal account of these fraudsters because the only reason this many people are falling for this scam is because they're seeing a PayPal button and automatically assume that effecto is trustworthy which couldn't be further from the truth. They're effectively destroying PayPals trust by abusing their name to exploit customers preexisting trust in PayPal to make their scam operation possible in the first place. Edit 2: Also note that on Trustpilot it says that their location is United States but on their own website it says Lithuania (I've looked up the place on Google maps it's a shell company these scammers are likely sitting somewhere else like in India or Africa) Neverending deception They also never send any invoices and there's no mentions of "effecto" on the charge so that people don't have a clue where the charge cames from months after 👉 CONTACT PAYPAL TO DROP THESE FRAUDSTERS NOW

Dieses Unternehmen hat für einen Quiz 50 cent abziehen wollen. Hat aber ein Mal 6 Euro und einmal 37 Euro abgezogen. D.h. eine typische Abofalle. Paypal wird mir die Beiträge hoffentlich erstatten. Diese Betrüger sitzen leider in Litauen, sonst hätten sie direkt eine Anzeige und Anwaltsbrief erhalten. Auf der Abbuchung stand noch "Medical Score" statt "effecto app" was auf eine zusätzliche Verschleierung schließen lässt. ===================================== This company wanted to deduct 50 cents for a quiz. However, it deducted €6 once and €37 another time. In other words, a typical subscription trap. Hopefully, PayPal will refund the charges. Unfortunately, these fraudsters are based in Lithuania, otherwise they would have received a complaint and a letter from a lawyer straight away. The debit slip said “Medical Score” instead of “effecto app,” which suggests additional concealment.

Scam, Awaiting a response re refund and cancellation DO NOT SIGN UP Generally upset, and angry that they get away with this. Have emailed and sent request , waiting to hear bk. UPDATE Cancellation accepted, refund refused, so disgusted at this company, NO MORALA AT ALL. Reply to effecto. I've tried 2 ways to get a refund, neither have yielded a refund, leaving me unable to pay bills. So I do consider this a scam, as a person with ADHD the expectation of me remembering a date is wrong. Also I found the app too overwhelming to use. I tried and it was too much.

This is connected to Nordletics, not to be trusted

Ich habe das Abonnement ordnungsgemäß über Apple gekündigt und die App anschließend gelöscht. Trotzdem wurden weiterhin Beträge über mein PayPal-Konto abgebucht. Für mich ist derzeit nicht nachvollziehbar, warum nach der Kündigung weiterhin Zahlungen erfolgen. Ich empfinde das als intransparent und problematisch – insbesondere, weil sich die App an Menschen richtet, die aufgrund einer Diagnose Unterstützung suchen. Ich rate daher zur Vorsicht und würde die App nicht empfehlen. Bewertung: 0 Sterne.
